Siri is great value for money. It's an older style, but is freshly painted, and it's super, super clean. It's close to a night market, and the historical park. They have free bicycles to borrow. Mine had a puncture, and the guesthouse sent me a Tuk Tuk, which cost me 60 baht. I really recommend the afternoon boat tour Siri offers for 250 baht. There is no commentary, but the route is beautiful and you visit three temples, including an ancient one at sunset. I recommend Googling the three temples before you go to find out more about them. A Grab to the train station costs 100 baht.

As a solo female traveller, I felt incredibly comfortable and safe here. I had ample space in my room and the location was close to everything I wanted to see in Ayutthaya. It was very quiet at night, apart from dogs howling! They were a part of the community there too and didn’t stop me from sleeping.

I really missed being able to make myself a coffee. Coffee was provided downstairs in the morning but it would have been nice to make at my own leisure. The bed was huge and so comfortable, and the best bed sheets I’ve ever slept in! I came away from Ayutthaya feeling very relaxed and well rested 😍

They are very welcoming and give you few tips for the temples and a tour by boat of few otherws. They also di bike rental and a bus service to Chiang Mai (see comment below about this) I gave 9 because they were kind enougj tonchange the date of my reservation having made a mistake when booking. If not would have been a 8 for the price you pay

Room could be better, no bed side cabinet or wardrobe, the mattress need changing, the bathroom has no windows just moschito nets and bars so to be considerate you can leave the door open to have it cool. The wc is where the shower is and the shower has no plate or courtains so when you shower you wet the entire bathroom. When i asked for a good restaurant they werent very helpfull so i had to look myself. Carefull wirh the bus to Chiang Mai, in the leaflet seem great but it is not. You get left 1hoiur before in a bus stop in the middle of nowhee and no sign on which bus to take, the bus is very obsolete and used mainly by locals. Better flight from bkk.

Nice owners, good location, and comfortable beds. I also appreciated that there were no issues with the hot water, and we were able to take a shower before check-in for a small fee—really convenient! Overall, a good experience.

I also liked the common area outside. However, some guests stayed up late and made a lot of noise, which was a bit disruptive. The biggest downside for me was the bathroom—it had poor ventilation, a mouldy smell, and wasn’t as clean as it should be. It really needed a good scrub, including the door. If the bathroom had been better maintained, this place would have been a 10/10 for me!

Siri Guesthouse is a small place, very clean rooms with comfortable bed and a fridge. The rooms have both a fan and AC. The staff is very friendly and try to help in anyway they can. After check-out or before check-in, you can take a shower (they provide towel and shower gel) for only 30bht. Great value for money.

On my arrival date, there was no staff around speaking English. So, there were a lot of Google translator used. Still everyone was super nice and helpful. There is a gate in the place that stays locked between 11pm and 6am. Not a problem for me. But you are literally locked inside.

The staff are so welcoming and lovely. They give recommendations of the local area, and there is a lot of information on show at the reception which was very helpful. They recommended that we do the boat tour which was one of the highlights of our entire month trip in Thailand. We got to see 3 ancient temples that were incredible! I highly recommend both staying here and doing the 3 temple boat tour. The location was quiet which was great, and we were lucky to have lovely neighbours staying at the same place so no-one was loud. The pillow and beds were super comfy.

It’s a budget hotel in the right place to explore the ancient city - and near to everything food/drink/entertainment. Family owned, the daughter is lovely friendly and helpful .. mum and dad are gorgeous but don’t speak a word of English. But hey … your in Thailand why would they?

Good location, set back from the road, near centre of town, near some restaurants and cafes. Comfortable bed. About 10 minutes walk to nightmarket. Lady on reception Oy, was lovely. Bikes to rent. Best guesthouse l have stayed in Ayutthaya. Try the beef noodle restaurant, about 50m on same side of the road, towards the river.

Aircon in my room was noisy, even woke me up. Bathroom is outside via the balcony. Not keen on this arrangement, as open to mosquitoes, the sink is on the balcony. The bathroom floor is nearly always wet from the shower. The walls between the rooms are thin.

Great location. Very friendly staff, with a young lad who also spoke brilliant English which was useful for us. Very accommodating and helpful. Room was simple but useful for our short stay here. There is also brilliant restaurants nearby and a cafe round front with some of the best frozen smoothie drinks we’ve ever had. Short walk away from the night market and the main temples. They also offer a 250 baht evening boat tour which is definitely worth it, as well as bikes if you plan on doing a day of exploring!

Shower room drain is the whole room (so it’s a wet room essentially) which can be annoying if you want to use the toilet but have showered, as floor is soaking wet. Aircon is a little noisy but that’s fine for us really.

The owners are amazing! They told us about local destinations and markets, they have push bikes for hire & they organised a river cruise to temples. There was a local activity that we wanted to do which was almost an hour from town, they found out when it was on and organised a driver for us. They really went out of their way to help. It is a nice are that isn't to touristy but is close enough to local sights. The air con is cold, the bed is comfortable and there is nice water pressure in the bathroom.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, this place is great
