Location is perfect for travel between Sydney and the Sunshine Coast. The room is comfortable with a lounge and table as well as a desk surface. The bed is big and comfortable. We appreciate the new bins to encourage separation of waste and recycling. We are regular visitors and will be back on our next trip.

There are maintenance problems in the bathroom. The towel rail was missing and the basin tap needs repair or replacing. The frame of the shower screen door needs a rivet to keep it in place. It would be good to have a form in the room to inform the owners of repairs needed, as there were maintenance problems in a different room on our previous stay. The new refrigerator is too small. All our freezer bricks would not fit and some of our food. The previous taller model, with bigger freezer space, was much better for our needs and this is has always been one of the significant aspects of choosing to stay in this motel.

Tastefully renovated motel. Beds were comfortable. It is nextdoor to "old maids" and a pizza place which was so handy and you could order online to beat the holiday crowd. Also super close to all the other places to eat and the beach. The pool was nice too. Super handy for festivals at byron festival grounds as they ran shuttle buses. Would come back to chill here again.

Pillows were a bit high. If your neighbours are loud outside the room you can hear everything, take earplugs. If you are on the second floor you will have to get luggage up and down.

Love the vibe in this refurbished 60s motel! Clean, comfy and quiet, with a hot shower and plenty of room for bags etc. Beds are very comfortable too. It's a short walk to the river and beach, and good coffee and pizza is right next door. Great for a short stay.

Minimal ventilation in the bathroom so it got very steamy and damp, and limited space to eat in the room comfortably - nothing that's a deal-breaker though.

Clean room. Very comfortable bed. Easy walk to shops & restaurants.

Not happy that when we arrived there was no parking space available for our vehicle. There is a pizza restaurant within the complex & their patrons use the motel guests car park. We had to quickly unload our bags & carry them up the very high set of stairs to our room then park our car in the street. We had to wait until the restaurant closed before we could move our car off the street.

Amazing location, both for local town and activities but also a great stop just before Byron if you're on a road trip between locations. 15 min from the heart of Byron but the prices and astronomically less than something comparable in Byron. Walking distance to incredible restaurants, cafes and the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Exterior is just as pictured! Love the update to a motel that makes it truly feel like boutique accomodation. Bar by the pool.

Rooms could do with a little refresh to match the amazing exterior, facilities and lobby - but are very clean, bed was extremely comfy and had everything you need for your stay, it's just the small cosmetic stuff that could bring it up to what you see outside. Pool umbrella's may also need a little freshen, with some stains here and there. Would be amazing if pool was heated, could use all year round and would have made much more use of it during my stay.

The location of the hotel was good, very friendly and helpful staff. Good room facilities, very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again and good value for money. Lovely hot showers.

Had the occasional power drop out when we used a certain switch in the room, but it didn’t ruin our 3 night stay. Very hard to actually find anything about the property we didn’t like.

Location was fantastic. Great eating destinations right outside your door, otherwise a short 5 minutes stroll in to town. For a very reasonable price the apartment exceeded expectations. A daily service was offered, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel was very trendy and even though we didnt swim due to the weather, we still laid by the pool and appreciated the pool club atmosphere.

The internet cut out a few times when trying to watch a movie on my own device, I had to switch to hotspot. The shower pressure in room 8 could have been slightly better.

Perfect location to where I needed to go for the two days. Staff were very welcoming and willing to help. Comfortable rooms with great facilities.

Bedroom fan was very dusty and hadn't looked like it had been cleaned in some time. Dust was thick. Suggest the cleaners be made aware of this. Hallway lights on till 11pm shining in through bedroom made it hard to get to sleep initially.

Comfortable, pretty and clean motel that feels like a resort with a beautiful pool and bar. Great atmosphere and balcony with chairs to hang out for a drink.Close to cafes and restaurants..Breakfast at old maids downstairs and an in room menu.

We were in a family room for 4 people. One room with three beds. Beds were a bit too close but happy that our whole family fit in. The water pressure was a bit low. But all in all it was value for money.

Lovely hotel with a great pool and good Italian restaurant on site. Check-in & out was easy, staff were communicative and easy to contact. The motel is in a great spot, steps away from cafes and restaurants and a short walk to the river & beach.

The family room is not overly spacious and the beds are small. Fine for a couple of nights but perhaps not for a longer stay?
