We arrived late so we didn't see anyone, room was spacious and well appointed for an overnighter. There was a large stain on the carpet that really stood out. It didn't worry us but some may not be happy. I'm sure the owners hadn't had it cleaned yet and I think from the rest of the room it would be attended to shortly. Lovely pool and gazebo area even though we didn't use any of it as we left early the next day. We parked our truck out the front which was great. This is a older facility but well maintained and nice updated furniture inside and a very comfortable bed. You can tell the owners love their piece of paradise. Would defininatly stay again, bonus for allowing our puppa. Thank you. convenient shops locally closely.

Great location - close to everything in Brunswick Heads. Renovated, so modern and welcoming. Appreciated the option to bring our dog along. On site parking easy. Looks cute and quirky from the exterior. Reasonably priced. The filtered and carbonated water available was a bonus. Keyless entry. Regular room attendance by housekeeping.

Couldn’t find any recycling bins. Bathroom rather small (sink tiny) as they were designed this way decades ago. No kitchen sink so have to use bathroom sink to fill kettle etc. no big deal, but a bit awkward.

This was my second stay at the Chalet and I'll keep coming back; the rooms are reasonably small but very well decorated and they do manage to squeeze in everything you need and make very clever use of the available space. The location is fine, being about a 10-15 minute walk from the beach and maybe 5-10 minutes from the town centre. I've never tried the pool here, but it looks quite inviting and the grounds are nicely laid out and contribute to a very nice vibe. I hope to be back soon!

Minor quibble but the bathrooms are quite small and located at the back of the room so that ventilation isn't the greatest; so it gets damp pretty quickly and takes a while to dry out. However, this in itself wouldn't stop me from coming back!

Great little motel! Very tastefully updated with a fresh, beachy feel. Very thoughtful additions including a spacious wardrobe, plenty of hooks to hang clothes, bowls, plates and cutlery for simple meals. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom was a lovely touch as well. Best of all was the location - although located on the main road and we had the front room, it was still quiet while still being convenient enough to walk to local shops, beach etc. Nice to have free bikes to use which made excursions a bit more fun!

Everything was great! It was a bit pricey, but not unusual for this area.

Lovely rooms and facilities: really clean and well maintained (enough space to roll out a yoga mat). Also appreciated the attention to detail in little extras such as fresh milk for coffee in the fridge, available cutlery etc. and beach towels as well as recommendations for town. Complementary bicycles are a huge plus too. Only minor downsides are probably the location by a fairly busy road (truly a motel) and that walls are a bit thin (which led to me being a bit self-conscious about listening to music/news in my room).

This motel was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious with a large king sized bed. The bedding and sheets were very clean along with the bathroom. The accommodation offered essential personal goods such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash along with a hair dryer. The room was perfect for a short stop in stay with an individual car park directly outside the door.

There is an outdoor kitchen area in which offers a microwave. It would have been better if there was an individual microwave per room just to avoid going outside.

Beautifully decorated modern room. Toaster, kettle, and some cutlery and plates etc was available to use. Good size fridge as well. Very comfortable bed!! I love the stools and bench that are positioned by the windows so I could look out onto the garden whilst using a laptop. Easy to find and great location. Loved the check-in process. Would definitely stay again when visiting Bruns. Would recommend a microwave and blanket just in case it's needed ☺️

Very stylishly decked out, loved the attention to detail ie full length mirror, double power points on each side of each bed, large mirror in bathroom next to power point and with a shelf for makeup/hair products etc Quality sheets and towels, beds and pillows very comfy

We had the large family room with a terrace and a sliding door, the door just had a sheer curtain so it was very light in the morning, a black out curtain would have been great. The little terrace needs a spruce up

This is a great option in Brunswick Heads; the rooms are old but have been spruced up nicely with some nice furnishings and they're clean and well presented. The hotel is conveniently located on the main road into town and it's only a 10 minute pleasant walk from there to the beach and the town centre. There's also a few take-away and restaurant options fairly close to the hotel as well. There's a nice, relaxing feel to the place and I'm already making plans to return again soon :-)

There was nothing I didn't like as such; again, the rooms being a bit older are a little creaky and worn but the clever way in which they've been renovated in that "retro" kind of way more than offsets this.

The property was clean and sleek. Although there were plenty of guests during our stay, it was very quiet. No noise between rooms which we appreciated.

We didn’t like the rattling of the air conditioner! It was very noisy as it cycled to cool the room. It was so noisy, that we turned it off so that it didn’t disturb our sleep and just relied on the ceiling fan. I tried to tell someone in the office but it was locked on the occasions that I tried.
