Great little motel! Very tastefully updated with a fresh, beachy feel. Very thoughtful additions including a spacious wardrobe, plenty of hooks to hang clothes, bowls, plates and cutlery for simple meals. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom was a lovely touch as well. Best of all was the location - although located on the main road and we had the front room, it was still quiet while still being convenient enough to walk to local shops, beach etc. Nice to have free bikes to use which made excursions a bit more fun!

Everything was great! It was a bit pricey, but not unusual for this area.

Lovely rooms and facilities: really clean and well maintained (enough space to roll out a yoga mat). Also appreciated the attention to detail in little extras such as fresh milk for coffee in the fridge, available cutlery etc. and beach towels as well as recommendations for town. Complementary bicycles are a huge plus too. Only minor downsides are probably the location by a fairly busy road (truly a motel) and that walls are a bit thin (which led to me being a bit self-conscious about listening to music/news in my room).

This motel was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious with a large king sized bed. The bedding and sheets were very clean along with the bathroom. The accommodation offered essential personal goods such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash along with a hair dryer. The room was perfect for a short stop in stay with an individual car park directly outside the door.

There is an outdoor kitchen area in which offers a microwave. It would have been better if there was an individual microwave per room just to avoid going outside.

This is a great option in Brunswick Heads; the rooms are old but have been spruced up nicely with some nice furnishings and they're clean and well presented. The hotel is conveniently located on the main road into town and it's only a 10 minute pleasant walk from there to the beach and the town centre. There's also a few take-away and restaurant options fairly close to the hotel as well. There's a nice, relaxing feel to the place and I'm already making plans to return again soon :-)

There was nothing I didn't like as such; again, the rooms being a bit older are a little creaky and worn but the clever way in which they've been renovated in that "retro" kind of way more than offsets this.

Very stylishly decked out, loved the attention to detail ie full length mirror, double power points on each side of each bed, large mirror in bathroom next to power point and with a shelf for makeup/hair products etc Quality sheets and towels, beds and pillows very comfy

We had the large family room with a terrace and a sliding door, the door just had a sheer curtain so it was very light in the morning, a black out curtain would have been great. The little terrace needs a spruce up

The property was clean and sleek. Although there were plenty of guests during our stay, it was very quiet. No noise between rooms which we appreciated.

We didn’t like the rattling of the air conditioner! It was very noisy as it cycled to cool the room. It was so noisy, that we turned it off so that it didn’t disturb our sleep and just relied on the ceiling fan. I tried to tell someone in the office but it was locked on the occasions that I tried.

Can’t really fault it! We had to reschedule our trip due to our daughter getting sick and they changed our dates for us with no fuss! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The BBQ area was great, and they have sparkling and still water on tap. The staff were very friendly! Walking distance from pretty much everything and they have bikes available.

Not exactly ‘new’ but we didn’t mind this one bit. In our opinion, the motel is just a bit too far to walk to the beach if you have kids and want to bring umbrella, food, etc.

This is a vert reasonably priced hotel. The owner/manager is lovely. Takes time to show you how the pin entry works. You get your own car park spot right in front of the room which is very convenient. I took my dog and they were very welcoming to her and got her fresh water. The room is clean, well presented and large, with a fan and air conditioning. There is also a small swimming pool that i saw people using.

The ambience is what sets this hotel apart from other properties in Bruns. The leafiness of the exterior really makes a difference. The pillows on the bed were the best. So rare to get pillows in motels/hotels that suit your sleeping style.

The parking should be easy as there is one spot for each room but people don't park where they should. Or they park half in one and half in the other. That spoils it for everyone. You go out for a few hours and find someone in your spot when you return. Fortunately there is street parking but you shouldn't have to do that.

Really great concept which reminded me a lot of the Motel Makeover from Netflix with the rosé all day / summery vibe. Lock box was easy to access. Very cute decor and I really liked the hand drawn local map! Bed was really comfortable and room was a great size. The kitchen sink and cooking facilities are really helpful for those needing to cook their own meals. The wall mounted soaps, shampoo and conditioner are lovely!

This is constructive criticism only! This is a great place! - A bit hard to see off the highway. Might just need a bigger sign or ask the neighbouring property to trim the trees back. - Being an older property there are a few things that would need doing over time to improve. Shower area/bathroom roof probably need an update. - Bathroom had a window that was unable to be shut at all which made it really cold getting out of the shower. - Signal for the tv wasn’t very strong so it was quite patchy. - Walls aren’t soundproof which may be a problem for light sleepers
