A lovely property with beautiful gardens. Breakfast was ok but nothing special for the cost.

We chose this property because it was listed as having accessible rooms. The Accessible bathroom was really awkward and couldn’t get the wheelchair in as the toilet is in the middle of the room and the door opens in so no room to be able to close the door and use the bathroom. Made transfers very unsafe - definitely would not recommend for wheelchair users - a sliding door may have helped but the layout of the bathroom is quite dangerous. The tables in the restaurant are too low to sit at and the waitress was “just find a seat anywhere” so no table service or seating to assist- not a very good experience

I booked last minute so was a little unsure what the room would be like but it was amazing great size , very light and airy, the bed was big and very comfy, bathroom clean and water pressure in the shower was good. The view was lovely and green, our big verandah over looked the adult pool and in the mornings we had the most fabulous sunrises. Every room has a parking space and it is free. There is traffic noise when you are outside around the pool or on the verandah but once the doors are closed it is very soundproof and quiet, There is a lovely courtyard outside the restaurant where you can enjoy happy hour of an afternoon from 4 til 6 with beautiful cocktails and bar snacks. I would recommend The Mercure for sure, we will be going back,

If I had to say something and it really wasn't that big of a deal just the distance up hill to walk to the main shops and cafes. It is only a short drive so just keep that in mind.

Modern and well-maintained rooms – The hotel is newly built, and the interiors feel fresh and stylish. • Spacious and well-equipped accommodations – The room had a large bed, a comfortable leather sofa, a fridge, a microwave, and even wine glasses and a kettle. • Thoughtful extras – We appreciated the availability of extra pillows, blankets, and a cozy throw blanket. • Clean and functional bathroom – High-quality fixtures, good water pressure, and all necessary amenities were provided.

Lack of communication for late check-in – Although the hotel states that check-in closes at 7 PM, most hotels in similar situations send instructions in advance. We received no prior communication. • Confusing signage – A sign at the reception indicated that assistance for late check-ins could be found at the restaurant, but the arrow pointed in the wrong direction, making it harder to locate.

Beautiful pool, great location, greenery was stunning and so peaceful, buffet was perfect and staff were good.

- On the floor next to my bedside table there was a large toe nail! - Also saw a cockroach in my room! - QR code for room service didn’t work which was a shame as it was one of the main reasons for my stay, but that’s alright. - A bit confused as I asked a staff member about spa facilities which he said there wasn’t any, but on the pamphlet in my room for the Pilates, the QR/website said there were massages and a sauna. This I only realised the morning I was leaving!

Large, spacious and comfortable room with views over trees. Staff ran a good operation servicing rooms promptly each day. Well-appointed room with fridge, microwave and basic crockery/cutlery.

No EV charging. A few 10amp standard plugs outside rooms would be a start. Walk to centre of town is about 15-20 minutes - which is fine but the paths and lighting was patchy. Wear and tear showing on doors.

Review My room was spacious & tastefully decorated. Huge flatscreen television which was great. Loved the view of the trees and grounds from the balcony. One of the things that I will always remember was the absolute silence in the room. The bathroom was well lit & had a non-slip mat, hair dryer plenty of toilet paper & and great shower head. Sadly, there was no bath. The microwave & fridge were spotless & there was plenty of tea, coffee & milk supplied. Just a shame there were no knives, forks or plates available to use- only two teaspoons. There is a huge swimming pool suitable for families & an adults-only swimming pool too. You can also do a pilates class here & book spa treatments. There’s an onsite restaurant & you can order room service via a QR code in your room. Gerringong is a lovely, relaxing little village & the perfect place to relax. Loved the boutiques, cafes and Indian restaurant just five minutes up the road. One thing that would have improved my stay would be the ability to charge my phone on the bedside table.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel & it wasn’t as good as our first time. But overall good location and upgrade to rooms were nice.

Check in was weird and uninviting. Didn’t feel like a hotel reception. The restaurant at night which we were most looking forward to was prob the biggest flop. The kitchen or wait staff forgot one of our meals whilst I had to sit there & watch my husband eat his dinner on his bday. No explanation as to why things were delayed as they were not busy. Only saving grace was getting a refund on the meal that was late. Buffet bfast was pretty ordinary too - food wasn’t properly cooked & poor healthy options. We are likely to not come back which is disappointing!

Nice spacious room, good sound proofing and the fridge didn't make noise during the night. Though I didn't use it, as I had to leave early I liked the fact there was a restaurant on the property.

The bed could have been a little better for me. I personally don't like those 2 single beds pushed together with a queen topper on top. There is always a 'ridge' in the middle of the bed so essentially your sleeping in a 'single' bed space.

The restaurant internal and external surroundings were very well appointed. I would like to say that we were very disapointed with the food. My husband's scotch fillet was not tender at all and my chicken was also dry. We felt it was not the way the steak was cooked but inferior quality meat. Would not eat at the restaurant again.

Love the room, nice an clean and mattress was just right.

Just breakfast could have been better. As you know most people come for nice cooked bacon. Well both days no bacon when we arrived, and the problem was there was no one looking into the hot trays to let the chef know that they needed to cook some more. And it wasn't the bacon only most of the other stuff had run out, no one came over to refill, you had to ask all the time. But don't get me wrong once you asked the staff were quick to get it, but as you know that is not the way to look after guest, when they have to keep asking for items.
