Balan was perfect location for us as we were helping family out in Cambewarra. So we only needed to sleep there. You could describe the rooms as quaint. Tidy and what we would expect for budget.. But we were able to fit 4 people 6 foot and above. All beds were comfy even if kids were a little too tall for the single beds. Traffic was a little noisy but that's because it was Easter traffic otherwise it was fine on other days. Location is perfect surrounded by take away and about 5 servos nearby and Woolworths Bomaderry across the road. The hotel was serviced everyday while we were out and often come back to a full carpark but you wouldn't know as it was so quiet at night. The restaurant- modern Chinese looked really good but we didn't have a chance to eat there but looked really good.

I would've like king single beds but we coped alright. Happy to have comfortable beds

My family got 2 rooms and they were much more spacious that we had anticipated. Our family suite had a completely separate bedroom, along with 2 additional beds in the main living area, as well as a separate TV sitting area, dining table, and kitchenette. Both rooms were very clean and the motel was in a convenient location. What set this stay apart from others: When we arrived we inquired about their laundry facilities (on a road trip with 4 kids the laundry piles up and we had around 4-5 loads of laundry at that point!). The reception staff (I think the owner's son) offered to do all of our laundry for us! I was completely shocked and offered to pay an additional fee for this service but he insisted it was no problem. The next morning all of our laundry was clean! This saved me so much time that I was then able to spend with my family instead. Thank you so much Balan Village Motel for your outstanding customer service:)

The beds were very comfortable. It was clean. Great location just near the shops, several restaurants and cafe with decent coffee. Despite being close to the road we found it quiet and peaceful. Black cockatoos were in the trees just outside our door.

Our room was a little dark. One light didn't work so we had to move a lamp around. The rooms are older so just be prepared this is what you are booking. We only had 1 blanket for the 3 beds but it wasn't cold enough to need to ask for more.

I had a great stay at Balan Village Motel in Nowra. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, even though I arrived late. The room was clean, comfortable, and I felt safe throughout my visit. The property itself is well-lit, clean, and beautiful, with plenty of free parking available on-site. Its location is ideal, with stores and food options nearby and easy access to explore the surrounding areas. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would gladly stay here again!

There was really nothing I didn’t like about my stay.

On arrival the room I had been designated was not made up, the next room I was allocated had no wifi, and the next room I was given, I mistakenly thought, had no towels. Each time I returned to reception, the delightful young man went out of his way to assist me. While there were a couple of initial issues they were dealt with quickly. I thoroughly recommend the Balan Village. Clean, comfortable, and near all the facilities I require.

I really had no issues that would put me off staying again. I fact I am sure that I will!

Ryan the on-site manager is an asset to this motel, friendly and knowledgeable, he assisted us with tv problems. Smart TV, fridge, microwave,cutlery crockery. It has an on site Chinese restaurant which isn’t bad, but not BYO, so we ate it our room, which had a two seat dining table.

The bed is on wheels, so if you are sitting on it watching tv it moves away from the wall. TV didn’t have free to air, although the on-site manager tried to rectify that.

Very clean with every imaginable thing you might need: plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Able to park right outside the door to the room was great. Room was big, had a little table for two. Plenty of space to put things. Even had USB ports on 1 power point. Nice towels as well. Host was nice and friendly and quick to check me in. A good value place to stay very close to a shopping area which also has EV chargers.

Unfortunately, I had a couple of men next door who were up late and talking & swearing then again the next morning the same issue. Not the motels fault but didn't make me feel safe. It is a bit noisy even with ear plugs in. The bed wasn't great a bit hard. I don't like the triple sheeted approach to the beds, as it's too hot with a quilt on but too cold with it off.

I was surprised by the size of the apartment!..Very spacious..We only needed an overnight stay, but was very happy with the accommodation. Beds were comfortable, facilities nice and close. Easy parking. The pool could have done with a clean. The food at the Chinese restaurant attached was amazing!!!

Some teaspoons in the kitchen would have been good :-( and coffee mugs!!...as there were 5 of us, extra coffee and sugar too please next time.

My partner and I loved our one night stay at Balan Village Motel. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. We’d definitely stay again! The only issue was that one of the towels we were given was stained – it looked a bit like mould. So would recommend the motel staff check that towels are properly clean before putting them in the room as everything else was great.

The room was a good size, it was clean and the bed was good. The young man at reception was very nice, helpful and polite. The property is in an excellent location with fuel, food and groceries close by. The resturant on site was good value.

The water pressure for the shower was very low and every time we had a shower it would go cold for no reason. there were two of us and we stayed for three nights so had a few very dissapointing showers.
