i love everything about the grand hyatt and so did my wife. we were very satisfied with our stay.

i was a little disappointed that we were assigned the east wing of the hotel and the swimming area that my family enjoyed was on the west wing. i would think that hotel staff would know how to place their family reservations appropriately, but i am sure that a famous hotel like the Grand Hyatt would receive plenty of reservation. now that i know this, i will try to ask to be booked at the west wing of the building.

location was great and breakfast was very delicious. We stayed in 2-bedroom suite (old building); we have free access to the grand club where they serve complimentary breakfast, light lunch and dinner. The guest service was a key feature to our stay, everyone was super friendly and polite. Especially Harry, the manager of the Grand Club, very easy talk to and helpful, he went extra miles to solve our booking issue, and we were very pleased with his assistance.

our stateroom was old version, and the TV was only 21 inches and the toilet was small and short. It would be better to replace a larger tv or smart tv to increase the staying experience.

location was great as it is very accessible to Wangfujing street which is just 2-3min walk. WFJ street has many choices of food (fastfood like McD, KFC or eateries of different cuisine) and shopping and supermarket. great location. As we would miss the hotel breakfast due to an early excursion, the concierge would pack a breakfast box if you inform them on the day before. So we can just much our breakfast during our car ride for the excursion. Hotel breakfast was great, lots of variety and some are cooked on the spot. Price for accommodation is worth it even though it is above average.

we were craving for bubble tea but a local Chinese telephone number is required when we order food delivery. Although the hotel staff are very willing to help by providing their personal hp number. a more generic hp will be more helpful when guests order food delivery. We ordered drinks everyday and had to trouble the staff everytime so i felt bad though the hotel staff's service is commendable.

Great location (short walk to Wang Fujing shopping street, walking distance to Tiananmen and Forbidden city), good breakfast and very helpful staff. Despite some hiccups in arranging for 3 rooms to be located at the same floor which i requested during the time of booking (3months earlier), the hotel staff managed to made it up for my family with 1 room and 1 apartment at the same floor. The apartment was an upgrade! Appreciate this very much

Some visible water leakage from the shower room to the toilet which we highlighted, hope the hotel will take care of it.

I actually stayed for a good 9 nights. Made the booking across 3 bookings. Should say overall am satisfied with the service and cleanliness. Very convenient location with abt 5mins walk to WFJ! The service staff were generally great! Would recommend my friends to stay there.

Nothing major except an incident where my room service coffee was left behind in my room for a good one whole day. The housekeeper didn’t clear it when they made the room. Not sure why, maybe they thought I would want to drink the coffee again after 1 day 1 night. The furniture may seem a little old also but is nothing considered the room was good overall.

The location is pretty strategic - connected to a mall and MRT station, which made it really convenient to get around the city. As for breakfast at the 2nd floor, it had a really large variety of food, from traditional Beijing snacks to Western food, which was able to fulfill guests as an international buffet. The lounge was excellent, with a large variety of food as well, topped off with friendly and helpful staff. Personally, the icing on the cake is the swimming pool, a literal oasis. The lighting is really well designed, with the decorations and interior, making it a really enjoyable place for guests of all ages. Moreover, the hotel staff are really helpful. As we wanted to get around the city, the staff helped us booked car rides and provided assistance, easing our journey.

The TV was pretty old, with little movies to watch and the quality was not good either - a lot of the graphics were pixelated, so that is something I hope they can work on.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the famous Wangfujing Street, and directly connected to the Oriental Plaza mall, which made shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Everything you need is right at your doorstep! We stayed in the Premier King Room (their renovated room), and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a stunning view. The concierge team was exceptional. They were always friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well. A special thanks to Ms. Yulia, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Her kindness and attention to detail made a big impact. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Beijing. Great location, amazing rooms, and service!

The water pressure in the shower could have been better.

The magnificent Grand Hyatt Beijing left the most pleasant impressions, so much so that I wanted to leave a review! We were checked into a room with a fresh and modern renovation. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, as it is in close proximity to Wangfujing Street and the Forbidden City. Separately, I would like to note the exceptional hospitality of the reception staff. Guest relations agent, Yulia, was beyond praise! She not only provided detailed information about the hotel but also offered invaluable assistance in navigating the city in strong winds, advising on what was open and what was closed. Her kindness and willingness to help made my stay even more comfortable. The work of the concierge team also deserves the highest praise. They always greeted and saw us off with a smile and were ready to help with any question. Breakfasts at the Grand Hyatt Beijing are a separate story! A huge selection of dishes for every taste, all fresh and very delicious. Starting the day with such a breakfast was a true pleasure. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Beijing is a hotel I would love to return to. The combination of renovated rooms, modern amenities, exceptional service, and an excellent location makes it an ideal choice for a stay in Beijing. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The Grand Hyatt Beijing has a fantastic, unbeatable location and is very convenient to go to all attractions such as Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven etc. The mall accessible at the basement level is also very convenient for food and shopping, and you can get to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street through the mall. The staff of Grand Hyatt are very helpful, efficient, and attended to needs immediately. The rooms are a little dated but there are many great features such as thermostat to control room temperature in each room, separate shower and bathtub, big comfortable bed and a good amount of space (important for families planning longer stays!). I would stay at the Grand Hyatt again. Definitely recommended.

Nothing major. Bathroom faucets (shower and sink) were stiff. Pillows a little too soft. Wish there were wall hooks for winter coats and bags.
