Very nice loft in the historical centre of the city. Communication with Corinne was excellent! We were allowed earlier in the room, which she let us know with a personal message. The instructions to get in the apartment were very clear. The apartment is nicely decorated. It’s on the third floor and there was no elevator, so beware of this of you aren’t very mobile. The bathtowels were soft and smelled clean. We didn’t hear any noise from the neighbours.

There’s no airconditioning, which resulted in a very warm room because it’s located on the third floor. But after we opened all the windows, it cooled down pretty quickly!

Our room was fabulous. thank you Corinne for making our stay thoroughly enjoyable, also a big thank you to the gentleman who met us at the residence and offered his expert advice on places to visit, directions and where to eat. good choice of restaurants nearby and places to take breakfast Car parking available practically outside. very happy to recommend this accommodation, great location for taking in the beauty of this historic town

There was nothing that we did not like about our stay

I was only here one night as I was traveling between Arras and Dieppe. I advised the host of my arrival time and received a quick response. I was provided with instructions/code to get into the building, and access to the keys to get into the room. Great location. Right in the heart of the old city of Boulogne-sur-Mer. Parking beside the building was full, but I was still able to access free parking around the corner and down the street a bit, at the 'Parking Esplanade Mariette' (7 min walk). Gardens in the square out front. Restaurants and bars across the square and down the street, which was very convenient. The apartment was great. Comfortable bed and environment. The funniest little kettle I have ever seen, but it did the trick. Microwave, oven and dining area available to use downstairs inside the front entrance. The stairs up to the rooms are a bit intimidating, but manageable. I just left my big bag in the car and took up what I needed, since I'm not a big stronge person. You won't be disappointed by choosing this apartment.

Corinne’s communication was exceptional, we were arriving off the train and Corinne had the room ready for us 2 hours earlier than check in (very much appreciated after our early morning Eurostar). The room was spotless and nicely decorated, comfy bed and soft sheets. Nice communal kitchen and dining area too if you want to make your own lunch. Location was perfect right in the centre of the old town.

Be careful of the steep stairs

Our room at Les Chambres du Beffroi was very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. It was brilliantly situated in the old town with a view over the attractive gardens in the Place de la Résistance. There was free parking outside, although we had to wait a short while for a space to become available as we arrived at a busy time on a week day. We were then able to walk everywhere we wanted to during our stay, so left our car parked there for the next couple of days. Corinne was easy to contact, friendly and responded to all enquiries very quickly, including providing recommendations for restaurants. We enjoyed some great food in a variety of eateries - high end and more relaxed - and walked this off by seeking out the amazing street art all around the town - finding almost everything on trails 1 to 4 and a few extras along the way. Fun and free! We had not booked breakfast, so can't comment on that, but there is a great little café - La Table du Beffroi - next door, with friendly staff and two breakfast options. The café on the other side also serves a great Croque Monsieur and beer to enjoy outside, admiring the beautiful display in the Town Square gardens. We thought the room was great value for money and would happily return in the future.

There was nothing we didn't like. We were the only people staying at the accommodation until our last night, so did not have any issue with noise, but being an old building we could hear the people moving in the room above us on our final morning. Not a big deal for us as it wasn't for very long.

We really enjoyed meeting our host Corinne and her husband, they were a delight. We also loved the extensive breakfast, the lovely little dining room and the fabulous location of the premises. It is right in the compact old town and has bags of character. The walk around the ramparts was a joy and we met lots of friendly locals with their dogs of various sizes. All in all a very enjoyable stay that exceeded expectations 😁

Going home……

Lovely place, loved my stay there. The place was nicely renovated. Clean and up to date on everything. Loved having a code for the door to come and go as I pleased. Corinne was wonderfull and kind and showed me the works. Would come back with out a hesitation

Nothing comes up exept maybe the stairs, they are as you would expect in an old building like that, tight and steep so I guess this is not for those that have a difficult time with getting up stairs.

Excellent location with free parking outside. Plenty of lovely bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. Quirky and pretty property - all very tastefully decorated. Perfect as a bolthole for a short stay on our way back to Le Shuttle.

Very steep and windy staircase - difficult to maoeuvre if carrying luggage!

A great place to stay overnight. If you’re walking around the area I’d recommend Froggys for a drink. Amazing place. Very clean and everything catered for. Husband thought there was no door on the lovely bathroom but it was a pocket door. 😂🤣 Thanks so much for a lovely stay, we really enjoyed it.

No negatives at all but think should point out the steep ladder stairs for anyone of poor mobility.

The hotel was central and very convenient for a 1 night stay. The host Corrine was very helpful and easy contactable. We can't comment on breakfast as we arrived around 7pm and left at 6am for our tunnel crossing.

We were on the 3rd floor which was OK for us but the steps to the apartment and the steps to the bedroom are not suitable if you have any mobility problems.
