The entire place was spacious and extremely clean. Ogawa- San and his assistant were very helpful and hospitable. Although communication was a challenge, everything worked out well with the translate app. We were particularly impressed and appreciative of Ogawa-San, who took the initiative to walk us to our dinner place in the dark and cold during our first night there. The washer, dryer and free condiments and ice cream and the view of Mt. Fuji (Giraffe apartment) also made our stay a whole lot sweeter!

Everything was wonderful. There were two toilets, but only one shower area. So large groups may need to wait and take turns to shower.

The property is exceptional. It is good for a family of 4-5 people, or a group of friends. The property comes with a big living room and functional kitchen on the ground floor with 2 toilets, and the 2 bedrooms and a shower area (along with an open-air hot bath) upstairs. The floor beds were comfortable. The hosts were excellent and also provided a lot of useful information to us. They provide free ice cream at the reception counter and also sell rice for an inexpensive price if you are cooking. They let us do early check-in without a fee and dropped us off at Kawaguchiko bus station on the day of departure. Overall, our stay here was excellent and we can't recommend this property enough! If you have a car to roam around Mt Fuji, this stay would be perfect for you.

Honestly, nothing much here. While this property is a bit far from Kawaguchiko station to reach by public transport, the nearest bus stop is No. 68 Higashikoiji W (on the Kawaguchiko Sightseeing bus blue line) is just 5 min walk away. In the evening, it might be a bit more challenging to reach here since the blue line's last bus pass by at this bus stop around 330-4 pm, otherwise it's a 25-30 min walk away from Kawaguchiko bus station (or take a taxi from there). Please keep this in mind while booking this stay.

Excellent service, attentive and friendly staff. Loved having the space for a family of 4 (2 teenagers). Very clean facilities and attention to detail was delightful. Four villas onsite which makes it quieter than most accommodations, ours was Panda themed and had nice touches inside/outside like Panda stuffed toys and statue with bamboo wallpaper to match the green tatami. The outdoor bath upstairs was fantastic to soak in and watch the stars. There was another indoor bath and shower upstairs as well. They had yukata (Japanese cotton kimono) for each guest. A Nespresso coffee machine, rice cooker and everything needed to cook in house including condiments that they have at reception for you to borrow. Laundry facilities available for a small fee. Free ice creams for inhouse guests was popular with the teens. Supermarket and 7/11 store within walking distance.

Just a few things that are not bad but good to know. The toilets are downstairs and for those that get up in the middle of the night there are two short flights of stairs with a sensor light. Part of Japan’s hotel regulation is to have illuminated green exit signs within properties- eye sleeping mask fixed this for me. There is no lounge in the TV space just tatami and cushions as it is a Japanese style property. We had a rental car however may be harder to navigate with public transportation.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy little house near Mount Fuji. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts. Everything was impeccably clean and well-organized, making us feel right at home. The house is cozy, fully equipped, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Special mention for the hot bath — it was an absolute treat to relax in after a busy day. Although you can’t see Mount Fuji directly from the house, it’s in a great location to easily explore the area. Everything was simply perfect! Thank you to the hosts for their kindness and hospitality. We highly recommend this place and would love to return!

We absolutely loved the villa! The team there is so prompt and so easy to communicate with. They don't have official shuttle schedule, however for the first round for check in and check out, they can help pick you up from the main station. We ended up renting a car, but just to know that it's something they're happy to do, is a blessing when you have luggage on you. Oh, and cherry on the top, they have free icecream available at the reception. With the cold weather and having such amazing icecream once coming back to our villa. It was a really good experience!

My car was broken down during my visit and the staff is very helpful and willing to take my family and I to find another car for rental. He has taken us to a few different places and tried so hard to make sure that we have another car available. He is such a great person and very thankful that he is there to help us translate and drive everywhere to seek help. Thank you so much for the great service and I will never forget how much you have done to help us out. Highly highly recommended!

The location is quiet and pleasant, yet very close to supermarkets and excellent restaurants – an ideal spot. The villa was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The host was simply wonderful – kind, responsive, patient, and helped us with any question or request quickly and graciously. He truly made our stay so pleasant and smooth. Highly recommended.

Location is fabulous! Property very pretty, green, quiet. Staff is very polite and helpful. Pictures from our villa front porch! An absolute treat to see the great Mt Fuji every morning and evening!

We expected 2 separate bathroom. It had 2 toilets lower lever 2 bathtubs and shower with vanity all In upper level with one common door and area.

Spacious and cosy. More than sufficient utensils, cutlery and tableware to cater to all our needs. Staff were wonderful - friendly and always obliging.

Just a slight drawback if you do not have a car - location is outskirts of town Centre in a very quiet location. We hired one and had no difficulties finding the place and moving around.
