Decor of home was lovely. Room had decent space. Appreciated coffee, tea, water, and fridge in room. Easy parking area behind home to accommodate guests.

Due to historic structure, bathroom door did not properly shut resulting in gaps and made for awkward use for a non-couples trip. Did not have pleasure of meeting anyone from the staff at any point of our stay, feeling a bit impersonal, but did receive clear instructions for check in and had no issue.

The Sally Webster Inn is a genuinely unique hotel. Combining the homely features of a B&B with modern touches that make for a seamless stay, we never saw a member of staff 'in real life', and yet felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout. How does that work, I hear you ask... prior to arriving, we received a text message from the proprietor with a code for the front door and our room - we then place our breakfast requests on a card outside the door, which are then left outside the room the following morning. In a post-COVID world, I sense this may be the approach many independent hotels take and even though it was new to us, we adapted quickly. The Inn itself, and our room, were both decorated beautifully, the facilities were excellent and the bed huge and comfortable. This was a holiday with multiple stops in hotels of varying kinds, and the Sally Webster Inn stands out as the most unique experience we had. Thank you guys!

Nothing! The 'hands-off' approach here can take some getting used to, so you have to be ready to adjust. If you've ever stayed in an Airbnb then you'll get it straight away though.

Everything from start to finish was lovely! The location is walkable to downtown easily- which is helpful because parking can be at a premium. The room was beautiful with a super comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was on time and delicious. Coffee was strong and pastries fresh. Everything was perfect for a nice weekend away with my husband.

The hairdryer didn’t get hot! Not sure if it needs to be replaced.

excellent breakfast, lots of choices. all done at a distance- with card left on door knob and breakfast packaged and ready next morning on sideboard. Living space downstairs so you could leave room and still hang out. Door code for security on front and bedrooms though I think some did not know how to lock front properly- it was unlocked a few times. Location a few blocks from town center so crowds/noise not a problem, but still on main street.

only surprise was ferocious shower stream in bathroom. Great water pressure but no way to calm the force and that was quite strong, enough to sting. Some people may love it and it certainly gets soap off fast.

Close to downtown Rockport. We were staying for our Anniversary, when we arrived we were given a beautiful vase of Roses and a box of locally made chocolates.

The photos of the property showed a dining space in the home. The rate included breakfast. When we arrived, we had to fill out a card for our breakfast choices ( no hot food) , to be delivered to our room the following morning. That was very disappointing. There was a property manager on-site, however, not the experience you get when you stay at an Inn. Everything was done by texting.

The breakfast worked out well; delicious pastries, plenty of coffee, yogurt and granola (my usual) and fresh fruit. It was delivered on time and very enjoyable. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed and good shower.

The lighting in the room was quite dim. I tried reading using my iphone flashlight but struggled. The bathroom was quite tight. The corner of the fireplace mantel protruded causing us to bump our heads a few times as we entered and exited the bathroom.

Loved every aspect of the Sally Webster Inn. It was beautifully appointed, incredibly clean, within walking distance to shoppes and restaurants in Rockport, and our hosts, Marshall and Courtney, went out of their way to meet our every need. Loved too that each room was named after a female pirate :)

The convenience of parking and spending the night at a quiet, immaculately clean, beautifully maintained Inn. This Inn is within walking distance of performance art venues, galleries, shops, restaurants, beaches and lovely neighborhoods. It's especially peaceful in February.

This isn't necessarily a dislike - it's more of an observation. Sally Webster Inn was less personal than an Inn and more like an AirBNB property - given that there essentially no contact with the hosts. With that said - everything was perfectly explained by email and text and the online booking arrangement was easy and confidence inspiring. A choice of multiple healthy breakfast options arrived in a take-out bag with carafe's of steaming hot coffee - and there was plenty of everything. Could have used a couple of little plates in the room to go with the nice ceramic mugs. But again - this isn't a complaint. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return there if given the opportunity and would recommend the place to others.

Very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable even if small room but lovely old house! Well decorated and easy to reach local amenities .

Bathroom initially smelt damp. Could do with bedside lights. Size of table in room too small to allow 2 people to eat breakfast in comfortable. But our personal preference is not to eat breakfast in our room .

Wonderful place, very charming and clean. Beautifully decorated rooms. Very close to downtown the shopping area, restaurants. We were there in March, so the town was quiet. There is parking right behind the building. You can choose your breakfast options and it will be delivered to your room.

Most of the rooms are upstairs, so keep this mind if you have mobility issues.
