My family and I enjoyed our stay at Ekhaya Boutique Hotel. Our interaction with each staff member was warm and welcoming, from the security guard on duty to housekeeping. Zanele and her team were exceptional. We really have nothing to fault. The rooms were spacious, each with their own ensuite, and lacked nothing. You can immediately tell, from the moment you enter the hotel, that the owner is well traveled as everything about the place, especially the amenities found in the rooms, were well thought through which often lack with other hotels. Everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable away from home is available in your room. The welcome biscuits in each room was a thoughtful touch and the breakfast was delicious. Visiting Ekhaya Boutique Hotel is definitely worth the stay.

Ekhaya is the best place to stay, especially if you are visiting Durban for leisure or group travel. I have traveled extensively. However, I have never been to the cleanest hotel ever. The staff were extremely friendly and highly professional. There has never been a day when I had to complain about anything. I loved the place, it is the best 👌.

The only thing they will need is a fast and reliable internet service, their own beauty spa, an electricity backup, as well as their own transportation for their visitors. Otherwise everything they have is the best.

Limited options for breakdast but it was good. The staff is extremely great with people. Clean rooms, clean establishment all around, safe, not too far from the ICC which is where we were going. Drove 15km to the beach. Tampons, panty liners and shavers in the rooms were so thoughtful.

The aircon in room 5 was not working and it was extremely hot. The pool was dirty so we couldn’t really use it. In cleared up on our check out morning.

Breakfast was exactly as I requested it to be. I did not have to wait too long for my breakfast to be made. The breakfast area is also very neat and clean. The staff are super friendly and accommodating.

There is nothing that I did not like. I do however think that the pricing is way more than a god hotel which does offer much more in terms of facilities and a variety regarding the breakfast menu if someone else would require. I personally choose a very simple breakfast and it works for me. I only stay here because of the location but this could change once construction on the N2 is complete. I would reconsider staying at a cheaper place with similar standards.

I Absolutely love everything about my stay from the security guard who was friendly to the staff who checked me in to the room which was soo beautiful and I loved the bathroom set up and all the extras the items that guests could forget at home. you have an amazing team, and the customer service is out of this world pleas please don't ever loose that it is the most refreshing thing to experience. the most amazing thing I had was dinner i has the grilled line fish with chips and salad... It was AMAZING and fresh and cooked to perfection!!!! the oat crunchies in the bedroom are phenomenal and if I could have bought a packet to take home I would have.

Location was great as its near to a brilliant restaurant called Lupa, cant recommend that restaurant enough, food is exceptional. The hotel breakfast was nice and the staff very welcoming. Little touches like slippers and amenities in the bathroom were very welcome. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again and recommend to others. We felt very safe staying there.

Kindly improve breakfast,maybe buffet breakfast would be nice….or illustrated be well articulated was is saved on breakfast..The waiters must in inform visitor what on the menu ..

The cleanliness & attention to detail in the rooms. It's got a homely, "taken care of" feel to it, which is lovely

Not that I didn't like it, but just to make a great place even better: perhaps offering firmer or softer pillows(just keep a few for those odd requests). A bit more staff, especially for the breakfast. It took way too long considering we were the only table.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Attention to detail - eg: aircon was switched on before we got back to room each evening. Facilities well maintained eg: swimming pool clean and inviting

We loved everything! The place is amazingly beautiful, the rooms are great, the staff are exceptional. Nice and quite area with lots of greenery. Rooms were spotless and in great condition. HIGHLY recommend Ekhaya Boutique Hotel.
