The staff were so friendly.The food was also good

That I had to fight to get the room I booked and had to pay extra cash. The food prices that were sent via email were not the same as when we got to the restaurant . No refilling of water on second and third day

The rooms are spacious and the clean. Loved the restaurant area, plenty of food and good variety for dinner and breakfast.

The mattress toppers are old and stained. Pillows not at all giving a nice hotel feel

Convenient location. Close to shops and restaurants. Lovely views from the upper floor balconies. Cleaning staff were great. Rooms have all the necessary amenities.

Breakfast was very basic. Food was luke warm and bland. Room finishes and bathrooms are a bit dated. Restaurant staff are on the slow side and there were quite a few trainee staff, which proved to be a bit challenging. Access to the floors are not access controlled so people not staying at the hotel were visiting/walking around . We had someone knocking on our door at 2am, only to find that they had the wrong room number/floor.

I like how friendly and understanding the staff was. Their bathroom was amazing, the water pressure was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was soundproof, so you wouldn't hear funny noises from other guests, which was a big win. The maintenance team quickly fixed our access cards as they had lost their connectivity.

I didn't like that when we got there, the pool area was closed off as it was being serviced. It would have been nice to go to a pool.

Your Receptionist, an Indian lady can't remember her name, she is the best thing that ever happened to the hotel. From the time we walked in, her smile, warmth, taking us through the check in, explaining everything. The bond she developed with my wife literally made us feel like we were the only clients in the hotel. We lack better words to express ourselves with regards to the kind of treatment we received. Thanks to all the staff from the cleaners right up to the Executive. We are most certainly going to come back and have already recommended the hotel to a number family, friends and colleagues. Thanks once again 🙏

Absolutely nothing

Great location, very central. Friendly helpful staff. Mr Moodley does a great job in ensuring that all guests are well taken care of. The breakfast staff cater for my dietary requirements. well ad even made eggless madeira cake for us. Room is clean and serviced daily. Staff are very accommodating if you need anything. This is our 2nd stay and i would definitely return as we enjoyed ourselves here.

No issue with our stay but they do charge separately for parking which is an unusual ask for a 4 star hotel.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was very child-friendly and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend it to families looking for a relaxing and welcoming environment

The morning chef who prepared the eggs / omelettes for breakfast seemed a bit unwelcoming on our first day, which was disappointing. However, as the days went by, he gradually warmed up to us and became much more friendly and approachable.

The staff was excellent very friendly ,welcoming and professional. The breakfast was good. Rooms were clean. The restaurant menu is also good. The food and the buffet is excellent. Abraham was always around and available when I needed something .5 golden stars is not enough to rate the excellent service I've received at Coastlands. I will definitely always go back. Well done Coastlands Musgrave .

There is absolutely nothing I didnt like. I will definitely stay here again .

The location was central to all the places we went to, the food was nice. Professionalism from from the employees was out of this world, from the securities, porters, receptionists, waiters, waitresses and the chefs, I would like to nominate Senzo the porter for helping us on carrying the bags on arrival, Wandi, Siyathaba, Mthoko and Sello for serving us with a smile, there were always nearby to assist, big up to all of you guys, you are such an amazing team. How can I forget the cleaners, they made sure our room is kept clean at all times and beyond our expectations. I'd definitely recommend Coastlands Musgrave Hotel with family and friends

The space to keep our clothes was very small

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and welcoming and always smiling. The food was delicious - from the breakfast to the buffet and the ala carte menu. We loved the freshly baked cakes each day. The staff couldn't do enough for us - thank you for a memorable stay - we will definitely be back.
