Lovely, relaxed and clean property right on the beach, with the fragrance of frangipanis as soon as you step outside your room... The beach is perfect, not too noisy compared to the main beach further up, but still within walking distance of the shops and activities if you need them. Large rooms with nice furniture. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Breakfast is OK but somewhat basic. The air-con in our room pointed directly at the head of the bed so there was a chilly breeze blowing all night.

Great resort with wonderful gardens and the pools were lovely. Caroline was amazing and went above and beyond to help us with local restaurants and trips. She even arrange a cake for our anniversary, a wonderful surprise.

The disused jacuzzi pool needs some TLC and a clean up. The gardens are so well cared for it would be good to see that attention on the beach as well

The resort is beautifully located by the beach, offering stunning sea views and a peaceful atmosphere. It's perfect for relaxation. The eco-friendly concept of the resort is commendable. I appreciated the use of natural materials and sustainable practices. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The pool area was well-maintained, and the beach was just a few steps away, which was great for morning walks.

The Wi-Fi connection in certain areas was a bit weak, especially in the rooms, which could be improved for those who need it for work or entertainment. Basic amenities like a comb and shaver were not provided, which would have been a nice touch for convenience.

Everything was really good. Make sure you book your excursions with Mary at the resort. Unusually, it’s cheaper in the hotel rather than outside. Found that out through the hard way! Rooms were cleaned everyday and well. Breakfast is cooked continuously so always fresh. Pool is clean. Beach on the doorstep, although the tide does come up quite high. A bit further out on the strip of hotels, but a few restuarants and convinince stores on the doorstep. You can catch a Grab (Uber) for relatively trip to different parts of the island.

Nothing really. Wi-Fi a bit temperamental but good way to disconnect and not a problem if you have an eSIM.

The Frangipani was beautifully located and staff were excellent, friendly and spoke English well. This meant communicating was very easy. Our bed was very comfortable, even down to the pillows! There was plenty of seating nearby to take in the beautiful scenery. The prices at the resort were very reasonable and the menu was excellent. To also note, we stayed at a 5 star resort whilst in Langkawi and the Frangipani was much better. I would highly recommend to any traveller or family!

The rubbish on the beach was a bit of a deterrent for swimming, but not the resorts fault!

I am a repeat guest... and will come back... so basically I like everything about CBTS/Frangipani Resort (except see below). The folks at the bar & restaurant are exceptionally kind and attentive.

The costs of nearly 3 thousand SGD for 5 nights... unfortunately I had to travel during LIMA. The breakfast, although well presented, lacks appeal for westerners and does not change / bear no surprises over a five day stay. As for Asian guests, the kitchen catered for indian, malasian and chinese palates, but didn't show variation either. If asked, I'm sure most guest would say that "breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about...". A hotel should want their guest to start every vacation day happy & invigorated

I have been longing for a little gateway after all the things that had happened, and this resort have totally satisfy my dream to have some time away from reality. I really love the “villa-like” placement of each rooms and also the beach view. I also really love the scenery and the view,the plants (especially the flowers). Most of all i reaallllyyyy love the breakfast!! Its so gooooddddd. The staff was very nuce and friendly too!. Hence, this resort has totally stole my heart and i would definitely come back and recommend my people to stay here too!!

Well there’s not much to think about but from my first impression, i got a bit of eerie vibe from the room when i first entered it.Especially the bathroom ,i was really scared to take a shower at the outdoor shower (it was night) but after one night i finally get the hang of it,in fact, i actually love the shower so much!

Location was amazing we had beach front villa and it was huge room. Beachside bar and restaurant nice place to relax Swimming pools clean Was some children’s activities which looked fun but we didn’t need to use I loved all fresh home grown leaves in salad bar Whole location was spectacular. If you want a very manicured resort this may not be for you but we loved more natural eco feel. Lots of good birds to see including hornbill Staff were always friendly and helpful

No complaints but couple of comments Jacuzzis were being renovated but that wasn’t an issue for us but you might want to check if you wanted it Our beach villa for 4 was huge but all 1 room. It wouldn’t take much to re-design to get 2 bedrooms both of which would still be big. This would perhaps make it more attractive to family or 2 couples to share

The safe were so friendly and helpful. They were all very pleasant and always had a smile. We loved the private bungalows with the garden paths leading to the pools, beach and restaurant. The breakfast selection was large and varied. If you can't find something to eat there, you should stay home! The help yourself espresso, coffee machine was great! Not far to walk to restaurants especially the great seafood restaurant across the street! The food at the resort is also good.

The air conditioning in our room wasn't as cool as we like but it was still cool. We had some fly issues with the outside shower but maintenance was quick to come and take care of the problem.

We stayed in the partial sea-view villa, it was awesome and spacious. In fact, we had a good sea-view from our villa. The villa was right on the beach and had a good sunset view too. The staffs are friendly and good. In overall, it was a very good relaxing and peaceful stay at Frangipani. We will definitely come back!

It could have been better with a more cleaner bathroom, shower area and unstained bath tub. The drainage was clogged at the shower place, so the water flow was very slow. It could been better if they provided a hand-held shower hose (especially for those with younger kids). The breakfast choice was okay and it could be improved as we noticed that the 90% of same menu continuously for 3 days. It would have been better with slightly more options and different variety available for breakfast.
