I enjoyed the balcony in front of the room, the bigger one with smaller chairs. De women of the reception are very kind, friendly and helpful, doing their best to make the stay comfortable. If something is not right, just let them know and they will find a solution. This is a perfect place if you want to stay in a quiet place very close to nature, accepting what this will bring you. Daily visit of a monkey family, do not feed them and don't leave anything on the balcony, but just enjoy and watch them. I enjoyed the nightly sounds of the many frogs in the small ponds in front of the rooms. I enjoyed my two weeks stay a lot.

Cozy and chilled place. Jungle surroundings give really nice vibe. We had a very calm and peaceful stay. Rented a scooter from there as well. They don't accept children there - you can like it or not, but we really enjoy our time when there is no kids playing around or screaming, so that,s a big plus from us ;)

Bed sheets seemed pretty old, pillows were not too comfortable, we were losing wifi signal a couple of times.

The personal is very kind and they want to be sure that you are having a great time, they take good care. we had a wish to change the chairs on the balcony and they were able to make it happen, that was wonderful. Also an extra blanket was no Problem at all. the location is very nice and the accomodacion has a wonderful, chilled nature vibe.

at first we enjoyed the monkeys, but in the end they stole my friends shoe (though it was said that they dont steal shoes), and it was a little annoying to back off of them and hide from them at least once a day. its also very easy to hear a lot of things happening around you, the walls are on the thinner side.

T-star is a fabulous place to be. If you like nature and being surrounded by the real sounds of animals, this is the place to be. The premises are totally covered in green, so privacy is also increased thanks to this "screening" and amount of greenery. It hosts a huge amount of animal life, from frogs to crickets, geckos or monkeys. They all have their moments of concert and noise, but I find it charming and soothing. They can get very loud sometimes, though. (warning for those who don't enjoy nature sounds so much). The room is big enough to move around and the bed is soft but quite comfy. The bathroom is huge! I was on an upper room, so C was working well and full on (it gets hot!) and also topped it up sometimes with the fan. There is a nice terrace outside with two sunbeds and a low table. The only thing I missed (as I am a digital nomad) was a desk to work, but I spent some time in nearby cafes during the day making up for it. Internet is good and stable. Staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. They are there for you if you need them. And if they are not physically in reception, they will be very fast at replying to your messages. I always felt super cared for! I loved the place!

I missed a little working space, but I decided to move elsewhere during the daytime and sit properly on a desk (instead of killing my back sitting on the bed). It's not a big room to live, work and sleep. It's a space to rest and relax.

T star is a such a peaceful place to stay surrounded by nature and its sounds. The monkeys are regular visitors and there’s lots of frogs in the many ponds. It is simple and rustic and there’s no hot water but that’s a treat in this level of heat. The ladies on reception are the best, absolutely lovely, kind and so helpful. The buildings are a little ‘tired’ but that kind of adds to its charm. It’s perfectly located opposite a lovely beach and away from the busy area of Cenang but very cheap to get there in a Grab if you want more choice of bars and restaurants for dinner. We loved it here! Thank you

The staff is very polite and helpful. This place is just an oasis of peace and quiet. Just a pure calmness enters your body once you enter the gate. Very close to the beach and nice restaurants. I booked 5 days extra, because it’s just a really nice and good vibe here. Obviously it’s not a 5-star hotel, but honestly it’s really good price- quality wise! I would recommend bringing earplugs and a sleeping mask if you are a light sleeper, since the houses are not sound/light proof.

Like if I were to think of 1 thing, while booking it wasn’t clear to me that the bottom houses didn’t have any airconditioning but just a fan.

Such a beautiful stay, full of greenery, animals. Frogs are singing and night and if youre lucky you can see some monkeys too! The room comes with a little private terrace and has everything you need. Staff is very kind and helpful. Its great because it is close to everything but in a quiet area. And seems like no children are allowed which I like. Would stay there again if I come back to Langkawi!

Not dirty but not very clean either, many spider webs in the room, bad some bugs on bed when arrived.

Different, very friendly and helpful staff, good scooter, sorted minor room problems immediately, nice jungly environment, 5 minutes walk to nice beach (put a confident face on and march through the posh resort opposite like you own it).

A bit of a walk to main town but not much reason to go there.

The location was amazing and I love that between all these resorts on Langkawi places like this exist where you can be more connected to the nature. Some people do not like it but I can not understand them. I think it is amazing to see monkeys ( I saw the makake and the leaf monkeys) roaming in the nature of this cottage and all the frogs in the ponds it is very beautiful.

The bed sheets are sadly wayyy to warm. I advise taking the frottee ones off

The only thing I found a bit difficult ( but anyone's fault) is that if you have a room downstairs you are going to hear people upstairs walking at all hours because the cottage is made of wood , which i really like . so if you are light sleepers you might wanna take the room upstairs
