That was the most beautiful and unique hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything felt like something from a fairytale. The room was spacious, featuring a large king bed, a huge bathroom, and a fantastic view from the balcony. Very chic. The spa was also extensive, with numerous saunas and relaxation rooms. The pool was also amazing, especially the outdoor area with a river view. The breakfast was delicious, and with so many choices, we had an awe-inspiring dinner. The service was exceptional. A short walk to the Lienz Christmas market was the cherry on top. We strongly recommend it, and my husband and I plan to return for a retreat to enjoy the beauty of it all. Thank you.

Everything !!! The Hotel was exceptional, the staff was exceptional, the room was exceptional. Everything about our stay was beyond any expectation we had. Would loved to have stayed longer but travel plans didn't allow for it.... Can't say enough good things to say. The free breakfast was the best I have ever seen....truly spectacular. The view from the room (311) was breathtaking. Mountain and river view !!!! As well as the balcony!!!!!

Absolutely Nothing

Great location - we loved our balcony 3rd floor overlooking the river. The river facing out door facilities incl. breakfast terrace are superb. Lienz has lots to offer - a great location for many hiking tours - proximity to a 36 whole golf course and great weather. We decided to only have breakfast at the hotel - as there are plenty of alternatives for dinner outside the property.

The checking process was not informative enough - we only discovered more details when we realized that there is an iPad like device in the room with all the information at your finger tip. While the rooms are very spacious ! we missed a bit of modern touch. Clearly a personal taste preference. Lienz has no free on street parking facilities - so we had to use the underground parking. But why the need of charging EUR 10 / night?

will its a 5 star hotel .. the staf are nice. the rooms are beautiful and comfy and has everything. the spa is nice and it has a lot of saunas and amazing pool . breakfast is good and the location is amazing . we booked it twice during our 10 nights in austria .. simply one of the best hotels in our trip if its not the best one

parking space for a single car is tight.

Very pleasant corner suite with balcony and great views. The staff were very attentive and the food was good. The parking garage was well designed and could take sports cars easily down the ramp. Outside parking was also available. The garden area is especially pleasant with a jacuzzi and pool sited discretely in the grounds. A great location to drive out from.

All hotel guests were packed into one area of the restaurant for dinner which was not ideal as we were a large (and noisy) party. Not ideal for other diners.

Amazing classy hotel, with one of the most spacious rooms I have ever stayed in! We arrived quite late, so we had an a la carte dinner which was fenomenal. The wine line is also quite decent. The parking in the garage was great as well, with the high ceiling so we could fit with an SUV with a fitted Thule! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time to check out the spa:/

The towels had a weird odour, maybe try changing the softener!

Outstanding hotel with very good facilities and a lovely setting. The room was large and comfortable and the shower pressure was very good. Fantastic swimming pool and garden. Underground parking for my motorcycle.

Service in the restaurant was very slow - an hour for starter to arrive and another 45 minutes for the main course. Luckily the setting and the weather were so pleasant we weren't to put out. The food was very good.

We had two rooms and everything was according to, or beyond expectations (dinner, breakfast, river view, rooms, architecture and decorations, underground parking, balcony, etc). One thing I think I should mention in particular: it is a family run hotel and the owner spends some time with each visitor at dinner time, in a friendly but tactful manner.

What a gem of a hotel, from the moment you arrive you know this is a special hotel. Check in was quick and the reception staff were excellent. The hotel has a private underground carpark with elevator access to the hotel. The room was large and comfortable with a Juliette balcony. The bathroom was a decent size with double sink and a full bath. Only down side was the body wash is bolted to the wall and slightly inaccessible when sat in the bathtub. Pre dinner drinks could be taken on the terrace overlooking the river Isel. Dinner was a fine dining affair, we opted for the taster menu and it didn't disappoint. On the way to the dining room there is a glass floor so you can see into the cellar and the wine tasing area. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options available both hot and cold. This hotel is exceptional, it was a real pleasure to stay and I will most definitely return.

Third time staying here. Great location if going to drive the Austrian high road.unbelievable breakfast. Owner is always present or his wife. Caters to cars & motorcycles touring. Safe facility for expensive cars/bikes.

Parking should be free but at 25 euro’s when driving a 200k car it is ok.
