the room was quite big and spacious , easily for 2 people but for me alone I enjoyed it sleeping on two beds. facility in the room was good as well. Cleanliness was there , view is alos nice from the room and so was the service along with it.

possibility to change room temp was not possiible! it was locked somehow and I didnt like it specially sleeping in a cold room on my first night stay. Breakfast option was not the best in my opinon! Bread type were less and going late into breakfast (after 9am) , there was very little food to choose from.

I was in hurry and came to the reception to return a hotel room key. A hotel employee has been using a vacuum cleaner in the area of the reception. As he noticed my presence, he stopped the machine so I could have a pleasant and clear talk with the receptionist. As soon as I left the building, he continued with his job. I am a noise-sensitive person and this attention to the detail astonished me and I deliberately stopped and checked the time to be able to say Thank you. Due to my train schedule I could not come back and say thank you to him in person. It was yesterday, 7th August 2024, at 11:44 am.

I am not impressed by the city of Darmstadt (well, my home city Dusseldorf is definitely not better) but I do love customer care, breakfast and people working at this hotel. A receptionist at night, a friendly attitude of the breakfast staff in the morning, a barman and his ice shakes for hot afternoons (luckily, there is a good air conditioning). I will come back again.

Breakfast was OK, but there were very little fresh vegetables like tomatoes were missing. I did room upgrade to larger one and it was very spacious. Room was equipped with AC which performed well and room was well furnitured with everything necessary. In room was coffee machine and electric kettle too heat water. TV was old style hotel smart TV without any real smart features, so only boring channels are available. Hotel offers to get coupon for 5 eur if your room is not cleaned for one day. This is good initiative and you can spend that coupon in lobby bar by adding only 50 cents for bear. However barman will try not to give you change if you do not have exact money.

I had the last room on floor and it had poor Wifi coverage at the table. Moving closer to doors made it more stable. If you arrive before official check-in time and if room is available, then Hotel will offer to charge you for early check-in 10eur per hour.

The staff were friendly, beds were comfy and room was clean.

I would prefer a papery slippers in the hotel in general. But I think it is not matched with the sustainable approaches :) Also, since there is no menu on the room, I thought there is no dinner option in the hotel but after we ate at the restaurant, we realized there is an option :) Also, in our room, the internet connection was pretty bad. If we told to staff (we did it previously, it was our second stay) they would change the room but we did not mind this time. Overall, it was 9/10

Room was nice, comfortable. Nice initiative that you can get coupons if you reduce the number of times the room is being cleaned. You can use the coupons for a drink or small snack at the hotel bar. There is a place where to leave luggage. Good recommendations from the staff where to have dinner.

Arrived a bit early and they gave option to check in with additional cost. There is not the best road crossing option next to the hotel, quite limited.

Clean, affordable room with a comfortable bed, near the center of the city and walking distance to a few grocery stores. The complimentary water was nice.

Although the hotel was very clean, there were some stains on the carpet which needed attention. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room, but for the price, I could easily overlook it.

Everything was good as I expected. I had a comfortable time during my stay.

The staff at the desk only communicated to make arrangements. I was expecting to be asked questions like how I got to the hotel, what my journey was like, where I am from or how my stay at the hotel was etc. These are the ice-breaking questions. I accept that they do not have to ask but I consider these questions important as a matter of courtesy..

The hotel is very nicely situated, walking distance (apprx. 15 minutes) from the town centre with the Christmas market. The rooms are great, good beds. The one thing I missed was the possibility to make a cup of coffee/tea in the room. Breakfast was great. Getting in and out of the parkinglot is a challege at times and also the parking spaces themselves are quite thight, looking at the size of many a car currently. But overall I was really happy with my stay.

No coffee/tea making facilities in the room and parking the car can be a challenge

Centrally located with plenty of dining and transportation options. The bar staff (Amin and Deez) and drinks were so exceptional our group ended up canceling our plans to go out in the evenings and just stayed in the bar area 3 nights in a row. It also helped that pricing of the drinks was very reasonable.

The staff was very friendly. Place was clean. Easy enough to walk to Luisenplatz. They also were very nice in giving us hot water for the baby bottles

It wasn't a major inconvenience but there were no water kettles in the room. We only needed it for hot water for the baby bottles. We stayed for 5 nights, so I just went and bought one for 10 euros at Luisenplatz
