We've stayed here a number of times over the past 30 years. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The location is beautiful. If you choose to stay here, I recommend a room with a balcony as you'll get some amazing sunset views over the village and the valley. The food is excellent. Always a joy to stay here.

Absolutely nothing.

I rebooked the hotel a year after staying there. Great service, location and garage parking for motorcycles. Wonderfully quirky building and very friendly staff.

We were in much smaller rooms than the year before which was a bit of a disappointment but I know now to ask for the rooms I want next time.

Everything! Friendly staff, good food. We’d booked a normal room but our’s was wonderful, on the top floor with two beds, lots of old, wooden panelling, a table with chairs under a window overlooking the heavily wooded valley across to the château. We even had a balcony. And they have an indoor swimming pool and sauna. We were on a cycling holiday, but next time I would stay more than one night!

The hotel is in the centre of a gorgeous village and the restaurant, the terrace and the rooms at the back have a marvellous view over the old town and the Château. Go for a room on the third floor with balcony. The staff are very helpful. An excellent choice for a stay in this interesting part of Alsace where there are many places to visit.

Some of the rooms on the street side at the front are a bit cramped.

Great staff, very customer oriented, great location

The room was noisy. There is was a door between our room and the next one which didn’t stop any noise. We could hear the conversations and everything the other guests were doing…

The room is clean and is big enough for a family of 4 people (2 adults + 2 kids). Nice view on the forest from the balcony. Nice breakfast and restaurant. Swimming pool & sauna are clean, towels available in the room. We arrived in the evening just after the restaurant kitchen closed but the employees were hospitable and prepared us some small stuff to eat. Very kind!

Dinner was really good, the hotel was so nicely decorated, very cozy, very friendly receptionist, the view from the terrace was amazing, great location, breakfast was good! We loved staying in this hotel!!

Nothing really. Well, maybe the restaurant staff could be a little more welcoming and helpful. And more vegetarian options for dinner would also be nice and a bit more modern: we are living in the year 2022 and we should all be aware now of the importance of eating less meat and caring for the environment.

The room was worn, but clean and with a good bed. Would have been nice with a refrigerator and the possibility to make coffee and tea in the room.

Very nice hotel well situated in the region, with friendly and very helpful staff, a good restaurant, nice bar, and very good breakfast buffet. There is also a swimming pool and sauna free of charge. We had a very good stay and will stay again if in the neighbourhood.

Some rooms are not very well insulated for sound. Depends what floor or wing you are in, but most residents are quiet, so it's not a real problem.

Charming hotel in a small and beautiful village. Great surroundings for walks and hikes. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was rather small. Restaurant was very good as well as the service. Breakfast was great, good quality and local food. Facilities are great, we enjoyed the pool and the sauna. Free parking on the street was very easy.

Bathroom was rather small, though the shower cabin was good in size.
