Did check in on line as they are not always at the hotel in person. Their message says until 3 pm and from 5-7pm. They give you the code to get in and have the keys at the reception desk. Mostly there is no one at the reception area all day. They work the restaurant. Room 25, deluxe king room with Mountain View. The view was not very nice as we were looking right into the back of the buildings next door and into their balconies, but we did have some views of the mountains behind them. The hotel is located right next to the main parking lot at the center of the village (prices are very low, 9 euros for a day and a half) and next to coffee shops and bars. It’s an older building but awesomely done inside with glass floors at the hallways of the hotel. Nice room, very contemporary design throughout, nice bigger shower and eco friendly. Price included breakfast. It has two small balconies and very nice big windows, with black out drapes I front of the wall to close the ceiling area that has glass. They leave you reusable bottles for water with their logo. Breakfast was okay, mostly continental with some local cheese and meats, boiled eggs and stuffed croissants and fruit. The older gentleman at the restaurant made an excellent cappuccino.

If there was someone at the front desk. Having said that, they do answer the phone and provide all the answers.

This is an amazing small hotel in the old part of Tirano. The rooms are above the restaurant, accessed by a lift or a very unusual staircase made of glass. It can be a little disconcerting to come down the steps because of the distorted field of view. There is a small roof terrace and a larger one outside the guest lounge, giving a quiet place to sit and enjoy the stunning views. The rooms are very modern, with a large, very comfortable bed and pillows. The toiletries are good quality. Although the shower room has a glass door, it is obscure and makes it private. There is a kettle in the room with a variety of teas and the hotel supplies a gift of 2 elegant aluminium water bottles that you can refill in the guest lounge on the first floor. Breakfast was continental so not cooked but had a lovely range of choices of delicious items. Hot drinks were made to order by the very helpful staff. It had everything we needed for a great stay and good night's sleep. We were a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk from Palazzo Salis- a 17th century palace in the town that is well worth a visit.

The hotel was a wonderful surprise. It was even better than the photos. Very modern and updated. Simple self check-in process made it so simple after a long day of travel. The room was lovely. Spacious and bright and SUPER clean. All the conveniences. Bed was very comfortable. Nice lounge on the 1st floor with a vending area, coffee machine, sitting area etc. We loved that the hotel also provided complimentary bottle to fill your water. Beautiful rooftop terrace for relaxing with a nice view. This hotel was a wonderful surprise. We only stayed one night but could have stayed more! Staff was helpful at checkout. Quick and simple. A great stop after the Bernina Express. It was about a 7 minute walk from the train station.

I had an amazing time here! The accommodation was absolutely exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. Everything was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had a luxurious feel. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff were extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant was another highlight — the traditional dishes were incredibly tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. A real culinary experience that added so much value to my trip. This place is a real gem and I would recommend it without hesitation. I will definitely come back!

The building was absolutely gorgeous, a modern renovation with glass floors in the lobby and stair areas, beautifully finished and very striking decor. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean, light and bright. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and free overnight in the piazza opposite. The hotel is in a very central location. Breakfast was more than sufficient and the complimentary reusable water bottles a nice touch. We would stay here again.

It was a little noisy when the other guests left for an early train in the morning.

The location was very good for my husband and me. We were coming to Tirano with the Berina Express, and we had an easy time accessing the hotel. Check-in was fast and seamless, and the room we booked was big with a modern rustic design. It had a kitchen and dining area, which would have come in handy if we were staying longer. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and respectful.

The only minor downsideis that the breakfast offered did not have as much vegan options but this is something we could overlook for the other perks of the place.

The rooms are modern, comfortable and have a stunning view of the mountains and courtyard below. The rooftop was a lovely way to see the town quietly. The breakfast was amazing. Great variety of delicious yoghurts, toppings, fruit, cakes, pistachio crossaints and the like. The check in was easy, and we were thankful for the lift for our luggage. Highly recommend this hotel. Only a short >10 minute walk from the station.

The shower leaked quite a lot into the bathroom, but nothing a few towels can’t fix.

What a lovely little gem of a place, very modern, spectacular lobby & landings with glass floors and transparent lift, the receptionist was very helpful, the room was clean and was equipped with euro plug sockets, when we stayed we had the added touch of a complimentary water bottle for use while at the hotel, and for us to take away, also the breakfast in the restaurant was set out very well and the lady serving was very nice too, Thank you for the pleasant stay

On our trip we stayed at 5 different hotels/properties and at this one only a couple of things bothered us and that was that there was no milk or coffee in the room (there was a kettle and tea bags though) also the shower head was in need of a clean as was shooting water in all directions (albeit it is good shower head), and if you like a dark room like I do, the window in the shower lets in light from the landing and make the room light (on this occasion I was exhausted so didn’t really affect me) however non of this really affected our stay in anyway just a providing an honest review on what we found

Great Location in the heart of old town. Short walk from train station 8 minutes approximately with a restaurant attached that served traditional food. friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast so set us up for the day on the Bernina Express.

Just a comment, not a dislike. Glass walk ways in hall and the lift was very interesting but need to use caution on steps due to no depth of field. You can see down two floors so can be disorientating.

Fantastic and modern property. Stayed 1 night after taking the Bernini Express. We found the host and the property lovely. The town was surprisingly charming, wish we had stayed another night to explore. I will definitely recommend.

The elevator didn’t work initially but we figured out that we overloaded it. Once we lightened the load it worked fine. Request a 2nd key as anytime someone leaves the room with the key the lights will shut off. Glass floors were amazing but a little vertigo inducing, eyes up!
