Very homely feel to it, and Maureen was a good host

Wasn’t what we were led to believe when booking! Expected an en suite room, TV and the reviews led us to believe we could get an evening meal. Arrived to a basic room, shared bathroom and no Tv and no meal available. We had to go out again to get food so very disappointing. However in the end, Maureen had to move us to a bigger en suite room to accommodate other late arrival guests ! All turned out well but it was misleading, perhaps on Bookings.com site!

I was down in Rosscarbery for a charity swim in July 2024. The house was immaculately clean. The rooms were a good size, the bed very comfortable.. Plenty of hot water. The property is located about 11 min drive from Rosscarbery, and close to Owenahicha beach, red strand and the Warren beach. Breakfast was fantastic, catered to everyone's particular taste. Lots of parking too of you're driving. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and couldn't do more for you. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone travelling around the Rosscarbery, Clonakilty or Skibereen area.

Absolutely nothing.

Maureen, greeted us at the door and was very welcoming. House was very clean and we had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was hot and she had made scones for us after the breakfast. There was as much tea/coffee as you wanted. I would highly recommend Springfield House Bed and Breakfast.

Maureen was very welcoming and kind. The breakfast was exceptional, the room clean and comfortable, and there was ample parking. The location was wonderfully peaceful and we definitely would have stayed longer if we were able.

Maureen was the most hospitable lady I have ever met! Her evening tea time was super special for us. Her breakfast was wonderful! Accomodations were top with en suite room plus another in the hall!

Only staying 4 days!!

The lady of the house was so welcoming as I was attending a wedding & my husband was travelling a little later I needed a taxi to hotel but she insisted she take which I was delighted with as I was alone , he hospitality was above & beyond home made produce for breakfast were beautiful

The host Maureen could not do enough for her guests. So attentive and delicious home-baked treats.

Need Sat-Nav to find it, but worth the spectacular views.

Maureen is the most amazing host, we feel so lucky to have stummbled accross this gem.

Nothing, its an absolutely stunning House in an amazing setting with the best view.

The breakfast was very tasty. The brown bread and scones were home- baked and delicious. We had a full Irish breakfast. There was a choice of cereals , yogurts , stewed apple and custard. Maureen was friendly and very kind. The whole house was spotless. We were treated each evening to tea / coffee, scones, cake and biscuits. An exceptional B&B.

It would have been better if the eircode was included in the advertisement. I made a quick call to Maureen and she gave it to me.

surrounding area is weather dependant, be sure to pack for correctly
