The staff is just amazing, very helpful and always smiling. The pool is warm and has different areas to enjoy for adults and kids. We got a family room, very spacious and comfortable, even had a mini fridge, just perfect. The indoors playground is great, has separate areas for different ages. The hotel has a cinema, mini golf and obstacle play area for bigger kids. Restaurants food is lovely, breakfast was very good. We also booked a massage with Orla, I can honestly say it's the best massage I've had, she really understood what I needed and helped me with a great massage for me, she also did a facial to my husband and we will definitely book her again, highly recommend her.

The outdoors kids playground needs a bit of love. Besides that everything is perfect.

We stayed in one of the apartments, which was great with a 3 month old. Lots of space and great layout. Beds were comfy. Excellent facilities throughout. The food in the restaurant was superb.

The shower could be better- the pressure was a bit weak

Excellent facilities, very helpful staff, very clean. Orla in Orla’s Beauty Rooms did my makeup and she was amazing. She is so professional and a lovely person.

Really lovely staff. Excellent for families as there is lots to do on site so kids easily entertained. Can be noisy, naturally, as lots of young families/kids at peak times. Food in the restaurant was really enjoyable.

Pool change areas could do with a few more family cubicles. As a mum with boys ( one with additional needs) he needs a bit of support but he is getting older now so not very appropriate for him to be in an open dressing area for females. A unisex changing room with more family cubical could make life easier for a lot of the hotel residents with a smaller separate male and female changing area for gym members.

Breakfast was excellent. Really good value and very well organised Rooms were clean and comfy. Pool was great. Didnt use gym but others in our party did and were very happy. Ate in restaurant one night and it was fine

We could not meet in the bar for a drink unless we booked a table for dinner which was a huge disappointment as we wanted to eat out some nights but wanted to gather in the bar first and afterwards. The pool cues are awful and broken and no chalk and the white ball gets jammed every time. Poor quality. We would have spent longer there except everyone got frustrated and fed up, esp if charged a euro each time.

Clonakilty Park Hotel checks all the boxes for a family vacation with small kids. The facilities available for kids to play is fantastic, giving parents some time to enjoy the high-quality bar and restaurant. I would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with small children.

As might be expected for a family hotel like this, the rooms had the wear and tear you'd expect from a family staying there. They clearly invest more in the hotel common facilities than upgrading the rooms, but that's worth it in our experience there.

We loved every minute of it, one my sons said it was best hotel and he said the staff were so nice and helpful, we cannot wait to return. He was so happy to see the staff singing happy birthday to him, food was so nice was so much to offer for kids and adults, all entertainment I could not fault, it was our first time there and we can't wait to go back already. My eldest son asked can we go here for his birthday he loved it

There's nothing we couldn't fault

Everything was fantastic as always, great place for small kids and young families. Food was fantastic, lovely buffet set up for the kids, was super handy to get food Infront of them ASAP and then grab their desserts as our dinners came. Fantastic play area, our son who is 22 months was like Bosco every time we went in. He loved it.

I do think the disco is on a little late, if it were to start at 6:30 I do think it would be better for parents with young kids and atleast once the bingo starts it's an opportunity for parents with young kids to get them off to bed. I understand it maybe be a staffing issue or the hotel would like to limit the time. Our children loved the disco and would be waiting all day to go but were absolutely exhausted by the time it started.

Location and amount to do with kids was great

The service in the restaurant and food were a let down. We felt very rushed at dinner with staff clearing plates away before we had all finished and coming to take our dessert order before the kids even finished their main course which was weird. The breakfast was very over cooked, the rashers were rock hard which was disappointing. Also the food truck that’s advertised was closed.

Hotel caters to families with young kids and, as such, is a lively and sometimes noisy place. I love kids, but a suggestion to hotel management is that for evening dinner, older guests might be seated in a quiet location within the restaurant area. On a positive note, the hotel staff were excellent, probably the very best I have ever experienced. Well done!
