Nice location on and near main highways, with bus stops right in front of their door for transport to all major tourist spots in the city. Though being old-style, the room was spacious and clean. Ample parking spaces in the basement. Staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast: lots of choices of hot and cold dishes, Asian and Western, though didn't really see luxurious ingredients used. Anyway, very good value for money.

The room was spacious and clean. I especially liked the built in bidet toilet bowl... very good feature. Breakfast was good, had a very wide spread of food to choose from for elderly travellers like myself and for my grandchildren. There were good facilities like kids playroom and outdoor swimming pool although we did not have time to make use of it.

The two-knob taps in the bathroom can be improved. Halal option breakfast lacks variety and would suggest to include variety for vegetarian.

Gods location, nice service and lots of nice facilities. The hotel is a little old, but well maintained.

For such a nice hotel, the breakfast is a bit lousy and one could expect a bit better quality of the food. The aircon in the room does not really dry the air. You have a constant feeling of a damp/wet atmosphere.

The extra charges for using the squash court and using the table tennis table. The bathrooms were a little dated and needed a walk in shower rather than only a bath tub. Plenty of space to properly refurbish the dated rooms too.

The pillows on the beds weren’t very comfortable (but that is personal taste) The evening buffet is fairly expensive at 1000 Taiwanese dollars per person.

The early check-in, room size and location. The concierge staff especially Adam Sun and Karen Lai so patient and helped us to find a fantastic tour of Sun moon Lake. The tour was the highlight of our stay in Taichung. The staff at the breakfast venue were lovely and accommodating. They didn't rush us out like other hotels we stayed in.

It was hard to book the restaurant on site and not alot of choices for drinks at the bar.

There are a wide variety of choices to suit everyone. I like how big the dining room is so it doesn’t make you feel crowded at all even when it is busy. Service is really good and staffs are polite.

It would be good if the restaurant can introduce some yam cha dishes for breakfast.

The breakfast was good. Nice mix of Chinese and Western style food.

The coffee at breakfast was terrible. The bathroom was very far away from the pool and down steep stairs, so getting to the bathroom with a wet child was tricky.

Pool closes from 12 to 2 pm is disappointing, and it seems way too long during prime swimming hours Two single beds pushed together with one blanket covering it was weird but ok The mattresses were firm!
