The staff were excellent and the food was lovely. The room was clean and modern with a good shower. Parking arrangements went very well with our spot having it's own personalised cone!

The only reason it's not ten out of ten is that the room got very warm during the night and so we didn't sleep that well. We couldn't keep the window open because of the traffic noise (not a problem with the window closed)

We had a really excellent stay at the Bull Inn. The room was even bigger than we expected, all very comfortable, including the bed which was just perfect. The homemade shortbread left with the tea and coffee was delicious. The (included) breakfast can be chosen from a menu like a regular restaurant breakfast and was fantastic. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, kind and professional.

It's a pub so obviously there can be some noise into the evening. On the Monday night of our stay, the piano was still being played at 10:30pm and coming up loudly into our room - but when we asked the staff if this could stop, they kindly sorted that out.

An historic inn . Centrally located with car park which, in Woodbridge, is invaluable. Sarah, the manager, couldn’t have been more helpful. She arranged a delightful room for me in the ground floor due to my mobility issues. Dined in the hotel’s restaurant. The food was delicious. The breakfast too was beautifully cooked and presented. I should also mention that all the staff who I met were polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I will look forward to staying here again as I have friends in the Woodbridge area. Thank you Sarah for all your help.

The Bull Inn is an old, and in some places quaint building. They have a small car park, and it is best to book a parking space, even though there is an extra charge, as local parking can be difficult. Staff were universally friendly and helpful. There is no lift, but the staff offer to carry your bags up the stairs. Our room was a decent size, and had two sitting chairs, many only have one. Very clean and quiet. Excellent bed and not too hot. For those liking hand-pumped beer, they had 6 local brews on. Breakfast was very good, allow plenty of time.

It all suited us perfectly.

The attention to detail in terms of decor - fresh and modern. The staff, Vicky who greeted and welcomed us, Olivia and Esmie who served us throughout at breakfast Breakfast was awesome, best ever so said my husband, who had eggs royale. Nothing was overlooked in terms small details when it came to offering the customer a pleasant comfortable stay. Value for money

As it’s an old building so the climb to third floor steep for two oldies. Worth it when you get there the view from our room awesome. Will request first floor next time as we will be back.

The location was very good. Centrally positioned in the town and within easy walking distance of all the town had to offer. Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable room, bar and dining area.

We stayed one night and had dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was very good and what would be expected. Local produce was used. Dinner was disappointing. That may seem harsh but the standard of food in pubs and hotels these days is generally higher than we experienced that evening. Parking at the hotel is limited. We parked a few hundred yards away at the library. Payment had to be made on line.

We loved the suite, the space was stunning, great views and a very comfortable bed. The bath was the highlight and staff were extremely accommodating. Parking was reserved as requested and the hotel is in a good location.

The bathroom could do with a better clean, there was a soap left from a previous guest in the shower on the wall shelf, quite noticeable limescale on the bath tap and sink tap and the extractor fan cover was thick with dust. The iron tripped the fuse when we tried to use it, it hadn't been pat tested since 2021. The curtains by the bed were lightweight compared to the other two windows so let quite a bit of light in in the morning. We were blown away by the room otherwise and wouldn't hesitate to return to The Bull Inn. For the money we spent, we felt these few areas should be highlighted for future residents.

Friendly check-in (indeed able to get into our room earlier than expected) The room was comfy and spacious. Excellent bathroom. The quality of the breakfast was exceptional, based around local produce.

There is limited parking available at The Bull albeit on the day most of the spaces were reserved for people who didn't seem to turn up. There was a private teatime booking at the Bull which was fine and no bother to us. It just meant we went out elsewhere for our evening meal. There are several low-cost public car parks nearby. We found parking offsite in the APCOA Theatre Street parking just 3-minutes away.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The room was a really good size. The location was perfect for me.

Unfortunately breakfast was not served early enough for me: I needed to leave at 07:40 each morning, but breakfast did not begin until 07:30. I was able to pre-order the night before and the staff made sure it was ready for me at 07:30, but I was still a little rushed. I did find the bed rather uncomfortable and the shower pressure somewhat unpredictable. And I could clearly hear other guests in their rooms. I did NOT like paying extra to park my car.

The room in this well-maintained historic inn was described as a 'small double', which was accurate for both the bedroom area and en-suite. Having said that, it was thoroughly practical, warm and comfortable. The breakfast menu was interesting, well-cooked, and comprised high-quality regional ingredients, including an excellent black pudding!

Not much really. Price was comparatively high, but Suffolk as a whole seems hell-bent on deposing London as the highest cost location in Britain...
