The room was nicely decorated and cozy and the courtayrad was nice to have breakfast/coffee. Beautiful building and central and convenient location.

There was only one pillow that was quite soft that I had a neck problem the next day, also the room gets very bright early in the morning and there are no blinds. all in all I didnt sleep very well. The service at the restaurant is super slow, I was waiting for 30 minutes to even get the menu, once, I got it I ordered some water which took another 20 minutes to receive and in general the staff wasn't very friendly

A marvelous building. 100 points for that. Superfriendly staff, great location. The room had a fantastic shower and a good bed. Not too many extra's in the room but if you look at the whole picture, this is one one the best hotels you visited. You can park your bike in the church which is part of the hotel. If you like poodles this is a must visit.

This hotel, nestled next to the River Fulda, has a rich history. Originally built as a Carmelite monastery in 1298, it now offers a delightful breakfast, exceptional service, and an amazing staff.

The only downside to the heatwave we experienced during our stay is the absence of air conditioning.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful with great English! The dinner was incredible and the location was very central so easy to get around plus the rooms were beautiful! Parking was easy with a private area would 100% recommend!

Great location, friendly welcome on arrival and all staff were pleasant. Short walk to the town centre, theatre and shopping centre. River just a minute walk from the hotel. Good sized room (109) with an excellent shower. Bar and Restaurant (ate breakfast only) exceptionally clean and well presented. Onsite parking available, and private parking to the the rear.

The hotel is very special, like a castle or was a castle. The staff is very friendly and prepare extra bed for my kid even I don't ask for it, which makes me feel warm. Breakfast is super. Location is very close to the downtown.

The room was clean, comfy and really beautiful, the location was ideal with EV charging available, reception staff were friendly, breakfast was exceptional!

Our room was downgraded due to unexplained 'technical issues' but we were refunded and the double room was superb anyway. A wedding meant we could not use the bar or restaurant and the noise went on until midnight, although we were emailed beforehand to warn us of this. Ear plugs would have been nice.

the breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee machine.

the duvet was a bit warm for the weather, it would have been nice to also have a sheet.

Rate parking just of excellent as room cost a lot would maybe think parking is part of it. Bathroom was lovely just could hear the other person using it 🤣. Although not an issue as was my wife. Breakfast was very good

What a beautiful hotel! The rooms are all set up very well, are extremely comfortable and spacious. Breakfast provides a wide selection and compares very well to similar hotels across Europe. The restaurant is excellent and well worth visiting, especially for lunch and dinner! I would absolutely recommend making a reservation there. It is a beautiful space and the food and flavours are fantastic.

A common downside in many hotels in Germany, which unfortunately exists at the Renthof as well, is we did not have air-conditioning in the room whilst travelling in summer. Most of the time, it is not an issue with the mild temperatures in the region, but it does get a little uncomfortable on hot days in some rooms. It does not, in my opinion, reduce the the quality of the hotel at all, as this is a common aspect of hotels in Germany.
