We had 2 air-conditioned rooms - a double at the front and a single at the back and stayed 7nights. Both were a decent size, very clean with up to date equipment and facilities. The Breakfast is great with a wide choice on the buffet. In the evening the Restaurant was always busy with many locals! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the majority speak good English The Hotel is situated on the Lake front with the road and a promenade between the hotel and the water. Lecco is less touristy than Como and is an ideal centre for exploring up and down the Lake and the views are to die for.. It has a good range of good quality restaurants and shops. The tourist office is very helpful. There is various (free) entertainment in the town We used the train, buses, trams (in Milan) and ferries. The trains and buses are quite inexpensive and are good quality although timekeeping can be a little wayward.

The bedroom corridor carpets need replacing. There are no tea making facilities in the bedroom but there is free coffee in the front hall 24/7

In a great location, opposite the lake with really helpful, friendly staff. My husband has a knee problem at present and the staff allowed us to use their service lift as there isn’t a lift in the main hotel and we were on the second floor. The hotel restaurant was first rate and we couldn’t fault the meals we had there.

The location was right next to the lake and city center,so allowed you to take a nice walk anytime. The staff was very nice and helpful and very accomodating.

The balcony view towards the lake was covered by trees. I don't think the hotel can be made responsible for that. However it should not be classified as lake view since you can't see the lake. The showers cabin had mold on the outside. The bedrooms were not well insulated.

We met 3 persons on reception, lady was very friendly and nice, my toddler enjoyed playing with her, boy in the evenings was friendly and old men with dog was neutral- never say hi, never have a look. Breakfast for us was little poor but fresh cappuccino- perfect! Double bed was two mattresses together. As we co sleep with baby, it was not comfortable for me but husband said it was okay for him. Room was very clean. Good restaurant in main floor, don’t even need to go out.

The carpet in our bedroom and on the stairs and hallway was stained which was ashame as the rest of the room was clean. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom

The hotel staff was wonderful. They were professional, thoughtful and genuinely friendly. We asked for an additional table for the room, to set up a computer. Shortly after, a table had indeed appeared in our room. The table was heavy, so this cannot have been an easy feat. The breakfast buffet was also a stand-out. The food was simple, but delicious.

The only small issue was the AC in the room. One could get it to work, but it would fill the room with a rather absurd smell, so we never turned it on.

Great spot, originally booked an ABNB, we abandoned it as the owner left. (My son’s comment was I think the owners died straight away). So booked HLL at 8pm, we were really happy when we got there, right on the lake promenade, literally 150 metres from restaurants and bars 50 metres across the small road to lakeside

The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The food in the hotel's restaurant was outstanding. The view and the location of the hotel is perfect.

The only thing I would change is the mattress. It was just so cheap old spring mattress and gave us bad sleep every night. That needs to be changed I think.

The room is modern, and ours overlooked the lake and the road, which gave us a great view of all the action. On the weekend, we sat on the balcony eating ice cream watching the people go by while enjoying the breeze off the lake. It's a quick walk to the center to enjoy restaurants and attractions yet far enough away to not be disturbed by it all. It's also a quick walk to the train station and ferry if you want to go explore other regions of the lake.
