Secure onsite parking was available for extra charge but, like most parking near city centres, it was a very tight squeeze for our large SUV. The individual rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was recently renovated. The property is within walking distance of the historic town centre and lots of restaurants.

The wifi coverage was patchy and the common room/kitchen always smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, despite the property having a firm non-smoking policy.

Was a lovely quiet area, room had double glazing so blocked the cicadas and other noises out very well. About 30 min walk into the centre, as well as various bus route options close by. Host was great, responsive, helpful, gave recommendations for things to do, map and a walking route around centre. Happy with our stay :) Definitely recommend trying a few local places, especially for coffee :)

Bed's just a bed, not the most comfortable mattress but not the worst either really, slept fine. Shower drainage was very slow.

This is a family home, run by a very sweet and friendly family. They are extremely helpful and kind. The location is perfect, especially if you arrive by car. The old town is within walking distance and also fine options to dine and/or drink available in the neighborhood. The building is beautiful. (Yes, this seems to be the standard in all old Italian cities...) My room was clean, quiet, decorated well and in good condition entirely. The bed was just comfortable. I loved staying at Casa Munay!

The interior design is tastefully done, we like the common area and the view of the back garden very much. Our room is conveniently located on the ground floor, so we don’t need to carry luggage upstairs. The staff were also helpful and responsive.

The room is too small for 3 people, we could barely open our luggage. It is a bit inconvenient that we only get a set of keys for all 3 travellers, so we either need to travel together, or help each other open doors. Sometimes we couldn’t find the staff in the reception room during check in hours.

Room was basic but had everything we needed.

Arrived with late check-in which meant we were not provided with the remotes for the A/C for the first night, meaning a very hot night. I'm not sure why the A/C remote can't just be left in the room with instructions on rules for using it on the room information sheet.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was well organised with clear communication. After arriving on an early flight, we were allowed to check in to the room before the normal check in time which was much appreciated. The room was clean and the hotel was in a good location, not far from the centre of town. There was also a small balcony in the room which was a nice extra thing to have. The lady at reception who did the check in (I think one of the owners) was very polite and friendly. The cleaning lady was also friendly and helpful.

Only a small point, but it would have been useful if we had had two sets of keys however this was not something we had asked for, so perhaps it would have been provided had we asked! Two bottles of water were provided in the room, however these didn't have a very fresh smell when you opened them- again this was just a small point however

Very close to the city, within walking distance. Lots to do in the immediate surrounds, plenty of places to eat and a couple of supermarkets close by. Very nice communal kitchen and living areas

The fridge in our room didn’t work so we needed to leave our food in the communal kitchen. The shower drained very slowly and the half flush on the toilet didn’t work properly . Had similar issues with drainage in Modena a few years ago

Quiet and comfortable room (nicely furnished, with fridge and good air conditioning) in a beautiful house. Large, clean common kitchen you can use. Good communication with owners. The location is a bit outside of the very centre, but it's a nice area with cafes and shops around. Great value for money.

The room is quite small, but everything else was perfect.

The free coffee, the shared kitchen ,the garden it was clean and quiet, although in front of a road with traffic .

I stayed in the attic without having asked for it. It was spacy,with double bed, but without windows! It was half an hour walk from the old town,I had to use the bus at night.

Location was perfect for me, near porta san vitale, no noise from the road, well connected with public transport, and places to eat a few steps away. Nice kitchen area. The room was small but confy bed, in perfect state of decor and clean. The owner was always helpful and accomodating.

I didn't like the fact that the control for the Aircon was nowhere to be found.
