Location was excellent, easy walk to town, drive to other locations. We had a corner room on the first floor. Loved the option of the extended deck with lounge chairs in addition to the private balcony with regular chairs. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room was updated and clean.

We have been visiting Montauk for over 30 years, staying at a different location outside of town. This was the first time we encountered a fee for parking. I wish this was stated more clearly in the description; we were informed of charge after booking the reservation.

We kept the curtains open at night just so we could watch the waves and sunrise! Pillow and Mattress was very comfy (especially as we came after the season just ended). Shower was hot and had good pressure. The indoor hot tub and heated pool were so clean and actually heated. There was even a pool attended to make sure everyone stayed safe and followed the rules. The town is so cute we could walk to breakfast and dinner. Almost Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls) like. The lighthouse is a must visit. We can't wait to go back!

The AC was a bit noisy at night but we easily slept through it after a busy day.

The room was clean and comfortable. Having a coffeemaker, microwave, sink and refrigerator was very helpful; I wish all hotels had this setup. The front desk and pool staff were very friendly and accommodating. What made this experience stellar was the hotel’s location and proximity to the ocean. Having an ocean facing room with a balcony made this a truly unforgettable first-time experience. We spent hours exploring the beach, walked to Ditch Planes along the shoreline and back, and hours listening to the surf and breathing in crystal clean ocean air. Both nights, I watched the sun set from our balcony. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent location and comfortable accommodation.

What a superb location - the Atlantic Ocean directly opposite the room, with direct access to the beach via a sliding door to the balcony, and the lovely town located a short walk from the room via the entrance door. Sleeping to the sound of the ocean! The magical sunset. The endless beach in both directions.

We loved everything! We booked to stay for 1 night, ended up staying for 2 (would have stayed longer if we hadn't had to return to Australia!)

The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel is that in the room, the couch blocks the air conditioner. So the air goes off because it’s cold in the corner by the a/c but the rest of the room is hot. It’s a constant battle all night and disrupts your sleep. I’ve stayed here multiple times in different rooms. They need to switch the couch and the table so the air can flow through the room. We moved the couch and it helped but not everyone wants to move the couch in the middle of the night

The first time I went it was great. Definitely loved being upstairs.

The second time I booked I had made special requests to be upstairs that they completely missed and they put me downstairs. I didn’t like being downstairs at all since the rooms had no kitchenette and that’s was a big reason why I booked the second time. It definitely ruined the experience second time around especially when I asked to speak to a manager and they wouldn’t let me. The person went back and forth that I never made the request and I told them I can go down to the office and show them the confirmation myself. Then the conversation changed to “oh now I see it sorry.”

I recently stayed at the Montauk Blue Hotel and had a fantastic experience overall. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm and welcoming demeanor truly made me feel at home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views. Our room overlooked the stunning coastline, providing a serene and picturesque backdrop that we could enjoy right from our balcony. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind, especially during sunrise and sunset. However, there was one minor issue we encountered. The shower door in our bathroom seemed to leak water onto the floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite this, the cleanliness and quality of the amenities were top-notch. In summary, the Montauk Blue Hotel offers exceptional service and spectacular views, making it a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend it and would definitely return in the future.

The shower door leaked the water all over the bathroom floor so coming out of the shower onto the soaked bath mat was inconvenient. There was still some sand on the couch from the previous guest so just little cleaning details could be addressed.

This hotel provided us with an outdoor terrace where we enjoyed daily views of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel's location is also right in the heart of the Village of Montauk. There were many restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance. Also, every destination (MTK Lighthouse, the various NYS Parks, historical landmarks, etc.) was within a short and easy drive.

The pool/hot tub area was always packed with families with young children. This is great if you are a fgamily with kids, but not very convenient if you want a pool with a bit more peace and quiet.

Location is amazing, support staff (pool guys/maids/the guy who brought our chairs down to the beach) were all amazing. Fantastic crew! Location is incredible.

It’s very expensive. And then they add $35 when you get there for a “parking fee,” which is an absolute joke. I’ve never had a hotel charge me to park at their hotel (that I paid almost $300 for one night). Pretty shameful.

The staff were amazing. Everyone from the people who greeted us to the people who assisted us at the pool were great! Always friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We had an absolutely wonderful stay.

The price was a bit steep. But then again, it's Montauk.
