Surroundings were open and picnic tables available. The bldg was older but everything was clean and neat. Water pressure in shower was great, bed was very comfortable. No noise from the road. Location is nestled in trees close but not too close to noisy road.

Found just a few items that needed attention. Broken lampshade, and slow draining tub. Food was good in the attached restaurant. I was not impressed with one waitress as she referred to us as "guys". We are retired seniors. She cleaned tables and left cleaning cloth on table then served food without washing hands. Guess Food Safe is not too important to others.

Met my expectations that it was clean and had all the amenities that I needed. I appreciate that it has a decent size freezer portion on their refrigerators. Not large, but enough to fit a few flat freezer packs. It’s cute outside and well maintained with hanging flower pots in the summer. Convenient restaurant on the premises. Jimmy was very friendly and welcoming to the Clansman Motel. I liked that I could park my car in front of my hotel room.

All good, nothing negative to point out.

I was very relaxed there and will choose the establishment again if I go to the area. The dining room breakfast was great and the staff was nice and friendly. The location is convenient, close the highway. And shopping is a few minutes away. Even other guests who I talked to were relaxed and very informal. I enjoyed it, and so did my little doggie. I liked the newer style heat pump for AC. They are much quieter and efficient than the conventional in-the-wall units. Much better for sleeping. Room 106 is equipped with one.

Everything was satisfactory for me. I only stayed one night, but I see you have cabins and such for families if they wanted to stay longer. There is a pool for the kids, a BBQ Hut and other areas. A nice setup. There should be a Happy Face Here!

The staff were wonderful at both checkin and restaurant. Even though we had a widespread power outage, the restaurant remained open. Obviously we had to wait a little longer for service and food, the staff remained friendly and cheerful.

Great place to stop before taking the ferry to Newfoundland. Restaurant served both dinner and breakfast so no need to drive anywhere fir a good meal.

From time drove onto the lot we were amazed at the facility. The picture on Facebook does not do the property justice. Exterior was neat and clean and the grounds were well kept. Went to the restaurant for supper and the Waitress was extremely friendly. The food was extremely well prepared, hot and fast. Had breakfast in the morning with a different waitress but still had the friendly personality as the girl the evening before and our meal arrived fast and hot. Our compliments to whoever was working the Kitchen.

Only problem and really not worth mentioning was the Rain Shower in the Bathroom didn’t work. (Pet Peeve not a complaint)

The rooms are dated but the beds are comfortable and it is clean.The location is off the road but the setting is park like.The restaurant is good and also offers senior portions for those who can't eat as much.The staff were nice and always helpful. You can drive up to your room door and keep an eye on your car. It is also easier if bringing in a pet or bags. I haven't checked lately, but they were pet friendly previously We have stayed there before

I would have liked a handicapped room with a bigger bathroom equipped with assist bars.

Staff were absolutely lovely, room was clean, and our little one had lots of fun in the pool.

We liked everything! Our only suggestion might have been putting a broom and dustpan in the room so we could tidy/sweep a little ourselves, but that's a very minor thing. This spot is great!

Great staff, decent clean rooms, good restaurant. Lovely grounds with short walking paths through woods. Easy 25 min walk to downtown. Essy 35 min walk to ferry terminal. 6 min walk to shopping mall with 3 major supermarkets. Great place. Have already booked again.

Location and friendly staff

a VERY dated feel and appearance. It seems the last time any major updates were undertaken was when the place was built. There's nothing huge that would need immediate attention but, there's a string of smaller things that need urgent attention - for example - the screen doors, which give the place a bad "look".

The fact that it’s dog friendly and it has a nice area outback so that you can walk your dog and there’s a barbeque hut in the backyard and you can drive right up to the back door of the room and unload there
