We enjoyed the days we spent in Luang Prabang and our stay at le Parasol Blanc provided the ultimate holiday feeling. The location of the resort is unique, an oasis of nature still near the city centre and the river. Extremely friendly and helpful staff!!! They arranged a private boat tour and a trip to the Kuangsi waterfall for us. The laundry service is perfect and affordable. Having breakfast in the tropical garden was a good start of the day. Our stay in Luang Prabang was a highlight during our trip thanks to hotel le Parasol Blanc and its staff. Many thanks!!!

Hotel has beautiful grounds with a pond surrounding the restaurant and resident ducks to keep you company at breakfast! Great breakfast with loads of options. Great bakery selection, cereal, fruit, eggs or rice. Staff ate all lovely, friendly and professional. Room was comfortable and lovely terrace overlooking the gardens 15 minute walk to the town but hotel provide a free golf buggy service during the day as well if you want

Nothing other than some rooms overlook other rooms from theie balcony rather than the gardens which may be off putting for some

Everything was absolutely amazing! The service was first class and the hotel truly beautiful, well kept and clean. The garden is very luscious and green, it makes you feel like you're in the jungle. The hotel also provides free shuttle service that will drop you off anywhere within the town. The pool is very nice as well. And the lily pond is so beautiful! This hotel should have a minimum of 4 stars, if not 5! The hotel alone already makes me want to return to Luang Prabang!

Nothing! It's a 15 minute walk from the night market area but if you don't want to walk you can easily get a tuktuk.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The free shuttle service into town was great. We were in a really quiet but safe area not too far from the town centre. The breakfast in the morning was really good. It was a great bonus that the restaurant served meals from breakfast to dinner, so we were able to eat late lunch. They recommended the spa at their sister hotel, Villa Maly, and organised to drop us and pick us up again and the Laotian massage was really good.

We stayed for a week and loved every moment. The staff were incredibly kind, making us feel at home. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent, with great options for everyone, including vegans (soy milk was a nice touch!) The pool was beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the main road. The complimentary tuk-tuk service was super convenient too. Highly recommend this hotel for a perfect stay in Luang Prabang!

We initially reserved 4 nights in this resort. However, due to our child’s illness we had to cancel flights and were stuck in Parasol Blanc until we were allowed to fly again. This was, under the circumstances, not a punishment. The resort is truly beautiful with nice comfortable rooms, pool, luscious gardens and a great restaurant. I can honestly say the staff made us feel so much at home and cared for us as if we were family. Chef Rasika even prepared special food for our son. We are so grateful and we specifically thank; Seng, Lin, Lai 2x, Sy, Chan, Sou, Chef Rasika and off course Baptiste.

A great vacation in an exceptional hotel served by high-quality staff. A big thank you to the two young women in charge of breakfast service, to Chan and Sounitta for their availability and to Rasika who brings her cuisine to life.

Spacious hotel super staff quiet low rise and surrounded by lovely gardens good bikes which were great as it would have been a 10 - 15 minute walk to the things we wanted to see/do and tuks tuks dont pass the property tho the staff will book one if you ask.

the pool had eight sunbeds - not really room for more - they were always occupied by the time we came back after morning activities and lunch- we lay on the grass nearby which was fine till I noticed coconuts in the palm tree swaying overhead and was concerned about them falling - I suggest putting some sunbeds in that area and removing the coconuts

We had 2 fantastic interconnecting rooms with beautiful lush garden views. The manager Mr Bee came through on his promise to try to make this happen for my husband and I with our young adult children. The staff were excellent - especially David our breakfast waiter. The Sri Lankan head chef was a total gem too - he stepped in to make us delicious breakfast omelettes. Great fruit, fresh juice, home made yoghurt - all while looking at the gorgeous jungly gardens and waterways. Nice tidy pool and the location just out of the centre of Luang Prabang is really good - we stayed 5 nights and loved every minute.

The hotel could do with a little bit of TLC with some painting - but this isn't urgent or an issue. New towels maybe and also some maintenance of the free bicycles.

Very comfortable bed and the room is very quiet with a view on the garden Pool and garden are very nice Breakfast is good with a lot of choice (but beware that drink other than coffee or tea are not included)

For the price it’s a bit surprising to have to pay additional charges to get a latte at breakfast… also with all the fresh fruits nearby, the juices are bottled juices…a bit disappointing. Service was a bit chaotic and not very professional compared to other hotels we’ve been to (and that were cheaper..). Minivan and taxi suggested by the hotel are way more expensive than Loca Pay, the local Uber/grab.
