The property is very well located, a few minutes away from everything, including the Train Station. A very beautiful courtyard, where you could drink your coffee or have breakfast. The hotel bar is special, a warm atmosphere and live music. Very nice, spacious and very clean room. If you don't opt for breakfast, there is an espresso machine at the reception where you can prepare a morning coffee for a fee. I highly recommend staying here.

A mini fridge would have been useful, where we could keep the water cold. And for the summer, an AC would be useful.

If you don't mind walking about 10 minutes to get to public transport, the location is perfect. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the rooms themselves are wonderful, if you do not like rigid hotel styles and want something with a more personal touch and houseplants. Beds were great.

My bathroom stank of cigarettes (probably cause some other guest was smoking) and they offered me a change of room after two days only after I asked, I expected more initiative from the hotel to solve the problem. Then I had to pack my stuff 5 minutes before I had to leave for work, so that their cleaning staff could prepare the room for the next guess. Surprise: I forgot my joggers and night shirt, and they simply disappeared, so that I had nothing to sleep in for the remainder of my stay. This could have easily been avoided if they had offered a change of room on their own the previous night and I had enough time to pack. Everything else was perfect, though.

The hotel is very close to the main train station (only 10 minutes by tram 16). Honestly, I didn't expect this. :) The hotel itself is in a very nice building with a spacious inner courtyard. The courtyard is also very cozy, you can sit outside and have a coffee. I can easily imagine how nice it would be to sit outside in warmer weather. The room was surprisingly big, the bathroom too. The bed was very comfortable, everything was perfectly clean. If I'm in Leipzig again, I'll try to book the same place. I really liked everything.

Nothing to complain, I can just recommend this hotel.

Everything was absolutely perfect – the clean rooms, the cozy setup in the common area (I have to say, I truly discovered the charm of billiards here), and the friendly staff and tenants. It’s more well-equipped than a guesthouse and far more comfortable than a hotel. The bar was also fantastic, and finding a place in Germany where you can smoke indoors is a rarity. Plus, there are two adorable cats! This place seems to be a perfect spot with everything you could possibly need.

There was nothing to be dissatisfied with. The only small issue was that the hotel’s sign at the entrance didn’t seem very noticeable, and combined with the fact that we had to walk through a courtyard, we kept hesitating, wondering if we were in the right place.

I booked the junior suite for a business trip. Everything was really comfortable, the room was very spacious, as well as the terrace. Would definitely choose this place for a second time if I ever came to Leipzig again.

The TV seemed to have a problem, I couldn't connect it to the internet to access streaming services, but I'm sure that will be fixed eventually. Perhaps bring a HDMI just in case.

Location was very close to the Mitte. Quirky pension with a pretty courtyard and good breakfast (15 euros pp). We had a 3 bedroom apartment which allowed out family to spread out a bit. The theme to the "Aegypten" apartment was kind of hilarious!

It might have been nice to have fans in the bedrooms to keep the air moving. We were admittedly there when it was hot. The high ceilings help a lot, though. Coffee or tea in the room might have been nice, but not really necessary.

Second time staying, this was a better stay. We like the location, short walk to the Altstadt. The restaurant at the hotel has great beer, good food and price. Nice court yard to hangout in. The cats are friendly. Breakfast was decent, parking available at least near by. Did not spend a lot of time at the hotel, but the time there was comfortable with wifi. A mix of guest from around the globe.

This was our second time staying, the second time the breakfast buffet had food that had gone to the other side. Parking near the hotel can be hard to get, but there is parking at a grocery store , EDEKA, 2 short blocks from the hotel that is 6 euros a day, not really an issue, and you can go shopping!

Very much a one-off. A welcoming, useful, family-run hotel with a decent-enough breakfast and supper restaurant, its own pub and various meeting room facilities. A couple of decent beers in the bar, such as the elusive Gutmann Weizenbier - rare outside Bavaria. Also, a huge courtyard. Quietly eccentric in its own way. An excellent washing facility and helpful staff.

It is a 20-minute haul from the station but I expected that. The breakfast was a bit dull but broad enough. Smoking allowed in the bar.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Gwuni Mopera. There is a restaurant, cocktail bar, Cafe, billiards room, massive courtyard, bike hire and happy friendly staff. We ate dinner (5 star), had breakfast (4 star), drank in the bar (5 star), watched the football in the courtyard and chilled. Drinks and food are very responsibly priced. Our room was massive and clean, beds were comfortable, shower great. Free on street parking available from 6pm, or all day free a block away.

Absolutely nothing

Very spacious apartment in an excellent location, close to the city centre and public transport. Even though it is so close to the centre, it was very peaceful at night. There is a beer garden downstairs, and you also have the option to order food to be delivered to your room. The kitchen also has everything you need to be able to cook your own meals. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and have already rebooked for next year!

The cupboards in the kitchen are extremely high, so I struggled to reach the items on the second shelf (the third shelf was impossible to reach, even for my taller friends)
