Location is great. The pool area and the access to the beach are great. Staff is mostly courteous and friendly, especially Mr. McKay at the front desk and Chris at the bar. The beach person, Fabian is always friendly and helpful. The rooms have been refurbished and are beautifully appointed now. Very comfy.

The property was heavily impacted by hurricanes a few months ago so there was noise from the machines and workmen working hard on bringing the property to a good shape. Considering the consequences from the natural disaster it was expected that it’d take some time to fix everything.

Family LOVED The BHS!! Stayed a couple of years ago (11 of us from Grandparents to kids) at another Hotel on the beach deigned for families (RF) -- they loved it, but LOVED this one even more. Smaller property, easy access to Beach (great Beach staff), Pool, etc. Tasha at the Bar is AMAZING. Bedrooms do get stuffy and Roll Away wasn't comfy, and other Bartender a TOTAL CRAB, but those are the only complaints Shuttles Service 5 Stars!

Unfortunately due to a tropical storm we had to adjust the dates of our stay. The manager was very accommodating to the adjustment. While we did not spend too much time at the suites location, utilizing the main hotel for the majority of the time, we had a very pleasant experience with the staff at both locations. The main hotel has a very nice fitness center and pool area. Didn't spend too much time on the beach due to very choppy water but many people did and they seemed to have an ample supply of chairs and umbrellas at both locations. (However, if you go in prime season you may want to plan on setting up early as I could see this being a different situation.) Appreciated the daily housekeeping service and washer/dryer in the units. Close to restaurants and they do offer a shuttle service.

While clean the facility itself could use some TLC. The door to our room made a loud squeaking noise when opened. Also, some of the areas looked like they needed to be refreshed with some new paint. Appliances could use updating... dishwasher was old and microwave light did not shut off. Our unit was at the front of the building with the bedroom facing the road. You could hear a lot of road noise during the day; however, we sleep with a noise machine so it didn't bother us at all but it may bother those that don't and like quiet.

All Staff was wonderful . Staff went above & beyond for our anniversary trip. Quiet place for some much needed rest & relaxation . Like the fact that by staying here we also had access to the Don Cesar as well. Loved our ocean view from the balcony. Beach chairs & umbrella included was a nice amenity….Alex was fantastic!

Feel as if for the value it should have been a little more high end … feel as if property was just mediocre especially being part of the Don Cesar and for the money we paid to stay there . Elevators were horrible - no air conditioning- one almost broke down with us on it. And only elevators at front of property - should also be at back for those units as well . Did t line how bar shut down so early . It’s summertime & people are on vacation.

Great location and a beautiful pool. Some staff is very friendly and accommodating. It seems that Mr. McCay understands excellent customer service much better than the others at the front desk. Very grateful for his willingness to accommodate our need for a small item that we needed in our unit. Cleaning lady, I believe called, Donnisha, was very friendly and did a great job.

Some staff at the front desk were not making any effort to accommodate for a simple request to have additional chair in the unit. In addition, despite the fact that we booked the unit 7 months in advance and asked to be on a higher floor and away from the street, this same staff would not consider options except to move us to the most expensive unit with the fee for the upgrade. We had already booked luxury unit so it was not reasonable or acceptable to pay more money for somebody’s omission to look at the request that was in the system for several months. That portion of the stay, the first week, was quite disappointing but the next week was far better and we got the unit that we originally requested.

It's right on the beach. The rooms are generously sized, and placed so that virtually every single one has some sort of sea view. There is ample parking. The people working at the hotel are simply wonderful, from the front desk to the guy handling the beach loungers.

The community of St Pete Beach itself is squalid, unkempt and super expensive for what it is. The only redeeming thing about it is the beach itself.

Excellent customer service that began before we checked in and throughout our trip. The front desk staff contacted me to make sure they understood my request that the two rooms I booked be near each other. At check-in, we were cordially greeted and the process was seamless. The staff at the pool bar were friendly and full of information about the local area. The shuttle service (which was a surprise to us) was so convenient and made traveling around an area that had limited parking stress-free. The shuttle drivers were cheerful, fun, informative and so accommodating. The staff at the beach was excellent and so helpful. This resort offered the best customer service I have ever experienced. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bedding was luxurious and comfortable. The bathroom was new and immaculate. The ample towels were soft and fluffy. The room was equipped with a Keurig coffee maker and fully stocked with coffee supplies and bottled water. Our room had a large balcony with incredible views of the ocean. Most rooms appeared to be oceanfront.

The beach towels were thin.

The location is great! Right on the beach, staff was Great! Chris at the bar was so friendly and Fabian on the beach was Amazing!! It was really a great lil condo stay with washer and dryer and balcony. Bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. Has a shuttle service that was also great, have to give a shout out to Justin and Raymond who drove us to a few of their recommended dinner spots. Pool is heated for the cooler days and hot tub was amazingly hot. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The early checkin by a very efficient and welcoming gentleman was appreciated . The one bedroom apartment was cozy and comfortable for our 1 night stay. The beach was wide and great for a stroll. Pool very well maintained. All staff were courteous and capable. The free shuttle to Don Cesar was a plus to arrive in time for our dinner reservation.

Our room location on the second floor could have been better as it mostly overlooked the parking lot and ran parallel to Gulf Blvd. which had some street noise which is a negative. I would recommend a higher floor and a room overlooking the pool and closer to the beach.

The location was great. The Beach House was great. The staff was exceptional. Charlie at the front desk and our cleaning staff did a wonderful job of making sure we were happy and comfortable. Peggy seemed to always be around to fix things and help the guests. She even replaced our broken toilet.

The building could use a renovation, for example, there was a large gap at the bottom of our entrance door.
