Perfect location in front of the lake, near the ski lift to go up to top of Crans. Phill, the lovely lady who works there helped us in the most profound way. We arrived and immediately realised that we left our passports in the safe at Schlossstrasse Schadau in Thun, a 4 hour drive from Crans. Phill managed to have her friend help us and we received our documents the same evening. She also helped us get free lift tickets to go to the mountain for hiking. The view from our room’s lovely and we loved the yummy breakfast at the hotel.

Where do I even begin? This trip was an absolute blast! Both the city and the nearby ski resort blew our expectations. But let's talk about the real star of the show: the hotel. The breakfast buffet deserves its own standing ovation. It wasn't just a spread of food, it was a symphony. From the vibrant display of fresh fruits and breads to the diverse selection of cereals, yogurts, and cheeses, every morning was a delicious adventure. But what truly elevated the experience was the staff. Their helpfulness and warmth were overwhelming. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, constantly anticipating my needs and exceeding my expectations.

This was truly a fantastic short trip staying at Hotel Du Lac. The room has everything it needed as well as a lovely balcony with an exceptional view over the mountains - a great place to relax after a day of skiing. I had travelled to ski and the hotel was perfect for this in terms of location but also the staff to help accommodate this on site - storing my possessions for me and allowing me to use their facilities once I had checked out. The breakfast was top - incredibly fresh bread among a wide selection of times and great coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect hotel to spend days hiking and sightseeing, located close to the main mountain (ski) lifts taking you up to the higher level trails. The hotel is really great in terms of price/quality of service. It is a bit old, but it has charm, and it is conveniently located. It is clean, and the management and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good. For dinnner or in the terrace bar, try the beers made locally by them! Doors to the rooms are double room, I have only seen this in larger hotels in Switzerland. Rooms are quiet! You may park in front of the hotel, which is a luxury in this town.

Illumination and plastic curtain in the bathroom, but it is ok.

The hotel is centered in a nice location, and the lake is gorgeous in front of the hotel. The most important is The owner, she is a very nice lady that made sure we didn’t miss anything, actually the owner is the the main reason why we might come back to the hotel on another trip

Beautiful room with a view of the mountains, ate dinner one night on the balcony with a full moon and a book -- truly delightful. Came back from a long hike the other day, close to dinner close time, and the kitchen staff accommodated me and made sure I had food to eat. Highly recommend! Staff are lovely as well.

Amazing location, great breakfast, staff where nice and helpful. Got the option of a bigger room! View from both side was lovely. Everything was perfect !!

This was a little stop on the way to Italy Beautiful location, nice Mountain View’s. Hyper friendly staff. next to Montana center and not far from crans. Congratulations to all staff for their exemplary quality service and friendliness.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. I stayed 2 nights and although my room was small, it was warm and had all I needed. Breakfast was excellent. Location is perfect, 5 mins to the restaurants and shops in Montana and 12mins to Crans on the other side. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. Free parking was available outside so no extra cost.

As mentioned room a little small with basic facilities, but really not a big issue for me.

Great hotel for both Montana and Crans sections of the resort. Great value for money at 3* level. The rooms are warm & well equipped rooms with amazing views. The breakfast is good for this level. But the staff are outstanding.
