Clear written instructions on how to check-in and checkout ‘remotely’. No staff was available for guidance/greetings during our stay. Comfortable room with essentials to warm food and water. We were given the lake view. All eateries were within walking distance.

1. The steep stairs to the room was a challenge for us seniors to bring our heavy luggage up the narrow staircase. An elevator would help. 2. A misnomer on Booking.com site describing this accommodation on their car parking space: it should be revised to “2 cars for 4 rooms.” We are unsure how the third car would get out of the tight space. 3. The shower equipment in the bathtub are not practical. The curtain is in the way of operations.

Good location only one block from the waterfront. Very clean room, with good facilities. The building itself is historic wooden structure which whilst charming does allow sound in ( fortunately the town falls quiet in the evening) though the internal plumbing is alarmingly noisy and the ceiling vibrates when someone moves on the top floor. Breakfast is not supplied and we did not find a very good option in the town, which seems to come to life after 11am. All in all we enjoyed our stay but we would not have wanted to stay for more than a couple of days due to limited things to do.

The comments above were not deal breakers and we accepted them as part of the character of the building.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming inn, perfectly situated just steps from the harbor and the historic heart of beautiful Lunenburg. The bed linens were exceptionally luxurious, and the bathroom offered an impressive amount of space. We especially appreciated the hot tub—though be aware it takes time to fill and, out of respect for other guests, the jets aren’t permitted after 9 PM. The views from our window were lovely, adding to the serene ambiance. I would highly recommend this delightful retreat to anyone visiting the area. Also - has convenient parking too which was a bonus!

Room matched the photos. Clean, quiet and good value. Bed comfy. Wi-Fi okay, but we were alone in the Inn. It may be an issue if Inn is at capacity. The back deck and parking are under construction. The exterior needs new paint. But inside is all clean and fresh and comfy. Nice view from the shared lounges on each floor. The only issue was that we booked bed and breakfast and were only notified that there was no breakfast upon arrival (by text). We saw no staff while we were there. Photos plus the sign out front say Bed and Breakfast so I urge the manager to remove the photos of the breakfast bar and sign out front of the Inn. We would call this a boarding house rather than an Inn.

this inn was in the perfect location in Lunenburg. Once we parked our car in the parking lot out back, we didn't need to move it for the 4 days we stayed there. There were only 3 spots provided for 4 rooms but for a couple days of our stay a 4th small car parked back there, but no one was blocked in. Our room view was the best, we could see the harbourfront where the Bluenose 2 and Picton Castle ships were docked. The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was a great way to relax after walking the hilly streets of Lunenburg. We were told ahead of time that they were no longer providing breakfast and that was fine with us. The Saavy Sailor restaurant was directly across from us and offered breakfast at 7:30am.

Nothing we didn't like but the room could've used a small bistro type table and there was definitely room for it. As well, early morning there is quite a bit of traffic noise as the trucks arrive to supply the restaurants along Montague street. This didn't bother my husband or I as we are early risers, but it might bother others who like to sleep in.

The location was good. Just one street up from the harbour. The room was nice and had a large bathroom with a separate shower and tub

The site has 4 rooms to rent but only 2 parking spots. If you are the third or fourth arriving you will need to park on the street and feed a parking meter every 2 hours between 10am and 5pm. Parking on street is free from 5pm to 10am. Kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. No toaster. The bed was not very comfortable.

The room was very comfortable and the little coffee bar was helpful in the room. The bedding was excellent. Excellent location across from the water and nearby restaurants.

Parking behind the building was very tight. The only other parking was metered parking on the street that was close.. The outside of the building needed some TLC and there were a lot of weeds around the front of the building and cigarette butts. There were empty planter pots near The back entry. The inside was much nicer than what the outside projected visually.

The location is convenient and the inn is quaint. Our room had a kitchenette. The bathroom was the best - large, beautiful and had a great tub/shower. The price is reasonable.

The things we didn't like were the parking and the contactless checkin. The parking anywhere in Lunenburg is not great. The inn had three parking spots and we were fortunate to get one of them. However we had a time parking as there is very little space. I do realize that we were very lucky to have gotten a spot or we would've been lugging our baggage down the street and running back and forth to feed a meter. The contactless check in was frustrating and we never saw anyone connected with the inn -- thus it did not feel at all welcoming.

Very nice location, we could see the Ocean and the Bluenose II ship from our bedroom window. Waterfront restaurants and shops across the street. Quaint and charming! 3 parking spaces at the back of the inn. All rooms were very clean. My father forgot his hearing aids and the cleaning staff was nice enough to call him right away after we left and let him know. Much appreciated!

A mixup with room assignments, but the manager was very quick to respond. Our second floor room was nice although the neighbours had some music playing which was bothersome, but that ended at 11pm. Quiet night.

Room was spacious. Bathroom was huge. Parking was available, but only for first 3 guests for 4 rooms. Keypad entry was easy.

Wooden floors were creaky. Could hear people moving around in hall and other rooms. Parking not available for all guests (although first come first served policy was known in advance). Also it was very tight getting in and you had to reverse back out the way you came in. Housecleaner's Shellfish allergies should have been disclosed before booking (didn't affect me but could have impacted other guests)
