The property was beautiful. The rooms are spacious , extremely clean,bright and have the character of a petite chateau. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice. The best we have ever had in France. Isabelle and Franck were fantastic hosts. They looked after us incredibly well. The atmosphere is calm and very relaxing. The garden with the pool added to the charm and tranquility and was lovely to spend time in. The location is great and without walking distance of all the attractions. Every. Thoughtful. Touch. This B&B is the top. Full of warmth, character and comfort. The hosts have beautiful taste and have created a modern haven in this historic home. It’s the perfect warm modern mix—marble, wood, metal and concrete. Linen curtains frame the beautiful windows. Comfortable seating invites you to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in your room. The bed linens are light and crisp, the beds are large and comfortable. You will find very spacious rooms and completely modern bathrooms. A delicious breakfast is included, with extra special touches like fine cutlery and pretty porcelain plates. All of this right in the center of town, rich with history and character. Oh, did I forget the plunge pool and lovely courtyard/garden? So much to enjoy. And the hosts are wonderful! It was also easy to safely store our bikes.

Beautifully appointed old property , recently renovated to a very high standard . We stayed in the Junior Suite on the first floor which also had a little balcony over looking a quiet street which was lovely ! Isabelle and Frank were lovely hosts and provided a delicious breakfast each day . A lovely courtyard garden at the back which had loungers and chairs as well as lovely pool which was welcome on a hot day. 20 minute walk to the walled city but a lot to see in this part of Carcassone too. Great to receive restaurant recommendations as well .

Would have liked Breakfast Tea bags in the room ! Otherwise would not change anything !! Truly wonderful stay in an amazing historical city . Thank you for making this a lovely experience Isabelle and Frank !

In the centre of Carcassonne along a beautiful Street is an unassuming blue door opened by the hoste who was exceptionally friendly and very welcoming. We entered a beautiful hallway with sweeping stairs and a beautiful garden with a long plunge pool. It was very tranquil. Our room was more like a 5 star hotel with high ceilings , excellent bed , gorgeous traditional French windows overlooking the garden . The bathroom was large with beautiful quality sinks and walk in shower . Breakfast was excellent with fresh bread cheeses and coffee . Iam only sorry we stayed one night however we will return. Parking is a bit expensive though in the main streets with a maximum of two hours stay and a cost of 25e if you go over but free from 6pm till 9am.

There is absolutely nothing that we did not like it was perfect and we are extremely fortunate to have found such a tranquil , exceptional property with fantastic hosts.

It certainly lived upto our expectations. A beautiful house with a tranquil garden tucked away in a central location . Easy to stroll to the Old City , and also close to the train station and bus stops . After a day of sightseeing, returning for a dip in the pool was bliss. All the rooms are tastefully decorated, with access to a fridge , tea and coffee. Also hairdryer and iron if needed. Isabelle and Frankie made us very welcome and were attentive without being intrusive .

All was perfect

Breakfast was good. The swimming pool was a bonus for me and I didn't mind it being cold - I'm from Scotland and used to cold water! The wee back garden was an real oasis of calm in a city and such a surprise! Rooms were classy, tasteful combination of modern and antique furniture and decor.

We arrived too early to check in but were kindly allowed to leave our luggage and told to come back at 4pm. We came back at 4pm but she wasn't there. She did eventually come, when my husband rang her.

Beautiful accommodation, great central location. Loved being able to relax in the courtyard. Lots of lovely little touches like the drinks station outside our room. We weren't the easiest of customers beforehand with a few change of plans but everything was accommodated for us.

The only changes I would make would be to warm the pool ever so slightly (I am a bit of a wimp about cold water but it was OK once in) and perhaps to offer breakfast ever so slightly earlier (my shuttle bus to the airport was 8am on Monday so I missed it).

The townhouse was lovely! The whole place is so beautifully decorated and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and patient with our limited (non-existent) French. The location is a perfect walk away from the castle. Breakfast was also delicious!

Not really a negative about the property, but if arriving by car the parking is paid public parking on the street.

Lovely house, beautifully furnished. Quiet street. Obviously great deal of thought given to providing everything required for easy living - all facilities provided - hairdryer, tea/ coffee facilities, magnifying mirror in bathroom, good (and quirky!) lighting in bedroom Lovely couple running hotel - eager to advise and assist. Breakfast delicious - all local produce. Great location - everything within easy walking distance. We had really good weather in October and used garden and swiming pool in afternoon to relax for an hour or two

The B&B is a hidden oasis, I loved how cool and quiet the rooms and shady garden are. The bed was very comfy, the aircon is very effective and quiet, and the waterfall shower is powerful and plenty of hot water. The pool was perfect too; just the right temperature to cool down in, and long enough to do short lengths. Towels provided for the pool are also a bonus. Finally breakfast is fantastic and set me up for a day of sightseeing. As a solo traveller I felt very safe, and the owners were really helpful and gave excellent recommendations.

I loved everything. Carcassone itself was very hot and very busy, so in future I’d avoid going in August.
