When we arrived, we realised our rooms were very cold and the heating was not working. We talked about this with the reception staff, and they helped us solve the problem very quickly. They fixed the heating, however, since rooms would need some time to warm up, they relocated us to the main hotel and gave us new rooms, which was very kind an professional. <3 So we ended up staying in the Hotel Kaiserhof instead of the Gästehaus - both were very nicely equiped, very big and comfortable rooms. Gästhaus is located in a smaller street, so there is no noise from the outside, there are only 7 or 8 rooms in the house, so it's very private with no staff on site. Hotel is located in the main street just around the corner, but there was still very little noise from the street during the night - we didn't find it disturbing. Staff was, as mentioned, very friendly and helpful. Both locations are also just a short walk from the city center, and there is free parking in front of both buildings.

Since the heating problems was resolved fast & efficiently, there is nothing to complain about really. We would stay here again!

Breakfast was very good. The location is excellent, the city center is very near, on foot 10-15 minutes. The receptionists are helpful and friendly. Everything is very clean. We could park in front of the accommodation.

We were located and the apartman house, not in the main building. They are near, no problem. In the apartman house the room and the bathroom are old-fashioned, I certainly would have not expected a curtain in the shower. But the room is spacious enough.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and super clean. The Guesthouse is conveniently located very close to the city centre and we enjoyed the walks around Lübeck. Hotel staff was super kind and helpful and we had overall a great stay.

We expected a bit more variety from breakfast since it was slightly more expensive than average, however it was overall very good.

A good place to stay not far from the altstadt. Check-in at the hotel, little walking distance. Room is clean, good comfortable bed. tv. Clean bathroom

No cooler/refrigerator. Bathroom has no airoutlet, so damp after a shower. Stairs to access the room. A little difficult parking.

A hot water kettle would have been a great plus to have a coffee in the morning. Otherwise everything was great!

The location is good. It takes 20 minutes by walk to city hall. There is a restaurant nearby, the restaurant is blood.it is easy to drive car to there.

It is a little bit old. The bath is too small.

We were in the guest house in the nearby street - there's a parking lot for 3 or 4 cars (no extra charge). Good location though you enter the old town from the back (the most famous buildings are on the other side of the island). Spacious room, armchairs, wardrobe. Breakfast and checking-in in the main building, but it's not a problem if the weather's fine. For check-in, you can park in front of the hotel for a moment (all the parking slots will most likely be taken) and then drive to the guest house.

The bathroom with the toilet - I'm not a fan of curtains in a shower + the toilet is not comfortable for someone of big size. No tea/coffee equipment in the room; no fridge.

The room was cozy, though the bathroom was a little bit too small. We ordered breakfast on our second day of stay as it proved to be worthwhile compared to the city prices. That was good, the bacon was a bit dry though. Great location and friendly personnel.
