The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The location was close to the center of Manchester Center, but at about a quarter of a mile away from the highest traffic volume. It is in a very scenic area. We bought breakfast at the restaurant inside the hotel and the food was excellent.

I found the shower controls very hard to figure out how to use properly. After going back and forth from icy cold water to water so hot it was burning my skin, a family member adjusted them for me. The shower controls are modern and attractive, however, I would have preferred "easy to use" over sleek and attractive.

The restaurant was great. I wish the breakfast was included for the price per night but the coffee and tea service was a nice touch. We loved that they are pet friendly. The bed was very comfortable and shower was nice and hot.

We were hoping the fireplace in the main foyer would have been lit since it was a chilly October evening.

The restaurant in the hotel was great. The lobby is so cute. The little area with the games was fun. Movie nights were fun. It’s just really a nice hotel and it’s clean and pet friendly.

The bar could’ve been open a little longer especially on a holiday weekend.

Clean, modern, great location with a restaurant. No coffee/tea maker in room but is provided in the lobby in the morning. There is a free social hour of wine and cheese from 5-6pm. Front desk were friendly and helpful. Since there is no business center, I needed help printing an e-mail. I forwarded my e-mail to Jennifer, Front Office Manager, who printed it for me. Appreciated the great customer service. Allows dogs. Orvis flagship store within easy walking distance. Hildene, the Lincoln Family Home is a short drive from the hotel..

This has quickly become our favorite place to stay when visiting Vermont. The staff, location, accommodations, and food are all excellent. The Taconic feels like a home away from home and we're looking forward to planning our next visit.

I liked everything about the property.. the landscaping was gorgeous, very walkable, all sorts of places to sit and read, drink coffee, do nothing… all so very pretty and well maintained

They surprise you with a resort fee of $35 for amenities that they do not provide or you do not need. Thus, the advertised price is deceptive. At check-in, The reception refused to add my loyalty number to for the stay because I booked on booking.com.

Location was great, close to restaurants and Stratton Check in was easy Room was tidy and well decorated Parking was easy

No one offered to help me with my stuff to the room. I had an entire cart full of belongings.

We lived out stay at this hotel, and especially how dog friendly it was. Beautiful building and interior, comfy bed, clean room.

We would have liked having a kettle in our room, but we got a cup of hot water at the reception when we asked if a kettle was available.

Great hotel need more staff ,but everyone is very nice and helpful Restaurant is just average
