We enjoyed each and every day and every experience at the hotel and in the city. The hotel staff, prior to travelling helped me with so many of the details, recommendations, and organised bookings for us - and all recommendations were fantastic. The variety of the restaurants recommended were excellent. The pick-ups smooth and seamless. And the day tour we went on was really excellent, with a very knowledgeable guide who really went out of his way to discuss a lot about the culture and politics of Moldova and explain what we were seeing etc. The staff to call-out for particular praise were: two ladies named Anastasia - one doing bookings and recommendations who was superb at answering my endless questions. And second Anastasia was a lovely welcoming presence in the breakfast room everyday - so friendly and yet professional. Elena also was excellent at helping with information and recommendations. The location of the hotel was excellent for exploration of the city.

Getting a room lower down in the hotel was a bit of a problem with the traffic noise. The men on the reception desk didn't seem to know much about things vs the x3 outstanding ladies (Anastasia x2 and Elena).

This was our first time in Chisinau and the Thomas Albert Hotel was definitely one of the reasons for our very positive impression. Upon our arrival and check-in, we were informed that we were upgraded (free of charge) to the best rook in the hotel. This was a penthouse suite, which was very nice looking, huge, and had anything you might want or need. We loved the location and the neighborhood, many good restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Finally, the hotel has one of the best restaurants in town at -1 level. It's called Divus and we cannot stress out how amazing the food is. Just go there and try yourself - especially if you are a wine lover

The hotel breakfast could be more diverse. Everything was tasty and fresh but felt a bit basic for such an amazing hotel.

In my view, it is the best hotel in Chisinau, located in the city center, within walking distance to the square and cathedral. The hotel itself is modern, with spacious, clean rooms and comfortable beds. We had some misunderstandings with the hotel staff during our stay, but they handled the situation very professionally, which was exemplary. As a gesture of goodwill, we received a bottle of wine as a present. The hotel also has a great restaurant offering both international and Moldovan cuisines, which I highly recommend. The location is pleasant for walking and close to shops and restaurants. If you are arriving by car, it might be a bit problematic, as the hotel parking lot is a few minutes' walk away. However, you can also park on the street, just 20 seconds' walk away, or drop off your luggage and park the car in a dedicated spot.

Beautiful boutique hotel just a short walk from the city centre. Friendly staff. Very modern bedroom with fantastic shower. Tea and coffee making facilities. Small balcony overlooking the street.....great for sitting out in the warm evenings. No noise from street exceot the quiet whirring of the trolleybuses. Good choice of hot and cold food for breakfast. Hotel us just 5 minutes walk from the airport trolley bus stop (only 6 lei...approx 26p).

It was absolutely perfect

The hotel was in the centre of town. We arranged roundtrip transport via the hotel from the airport. This was well priced in comfortable cars. The check-in was fast and the rooms spacious and comfortable. There was a mini-bar in the room and 2 bottles of wine, with wine glasses, if you'd like some wine. The prices for drinks were reasonable. The breakfast was good, and on the weekend they even had a bottle of prosecco, if you'd like a glass. Most major sights were within a short walking distance, so during the 3 days we stayed, we managed to cover most sights. There were also many restaurants, cafes and bars a short walk from the hotel. I can highly recommend a stay at this hotel, and will for sure stay there again next time I travel to Chisinau.

Very clean and comfortable room, good wifi, exceptional staff. Breakfast had a decent amount of choices to suit everyone - if you want 200 kinds of cereals or yoghurts, then go elsewhere and pay 4 times as much; if you want a nice honest selection for breakfast then this is just fine. Short walk to restaurants. The hotel itself (guests etc) was very quiet. No music/parties until 4am etc.

Barking dogs - not hotel's fault, but in this part of the world there are backing dogs everywhere.

Great location. Close to bars and restaurants and bus stop outside. Nice breakfast room and good sized rooms. Good on site restaurant underneath the hotel also.

Parts of the reception area where closed off maybe until summer, though was 27 degrees when we were there, but the closure/screening didn't look great on arrival.

You can feel that they thought about people when designing the hotel (iron in the room, wireless charging near the bed, the ability to ask for what you need for personal hygiene and so on) There was very comfortable to stay because everything has been thought out to the smallest detail This hotel exceeded our expectations

Very clean, amazing neatness, excellent service. The day staff, the cleaning ladies and the breakfast staff was top service, very polite and respectful.

The night shift reception guy was cold and not kind. Spoke rudely and with distrust, and did not speak any English or Romanian, only Russian
