The breakfast is now leaving a bit to be desired. The omelet was rubbery, but it is frozen and then heated in a microwave oven. There were no bananas this time around. The coffee was very good.

The call prior to checking in was anxiety-producing. I called three days or so in advance to make sure that we had a first floor room, facing the parking lot. My husband re-broke his foot this Spring. Adam answered and was extremely stressed, having to answer the phone as well as deal with check-ins. He had no idea that we requested a room facing the parking lot and could only give us one in the back. I called Corporate and they told me that it was evident on the communication that they received from Booking.com (?) What is this NOT communicated to the property?

Hotel staff great. Beds were comfortable. The room itself was very comfortable.

Specifically for room 106: there was a slight mildew smell present for our entire stay. Rules should be instated for other guests to be quiet after a reasonable time such as 9 pm. We could not sleep until after 11 pm as people were running around in the hallway and room above us. We could not call the front desk to complain because the phone landline was down and we were already in bedclothes.

The location is great. All staff members were pleasant and the complimentary breakfast was an extreme plus. Everything was clean and well organized. We also loved the close by dining and entertainment options we could just walk across the lot to.

The room had a faint smell of mildew and the gym wasn’t available. I also awoke with a back ache as the mattress wasn’t as comfortable as expected …. But it honestly wasn’t the worst in the world especially for a quick overnight stay.

The desk staff was amazing. There were a lot of issues (phones, elevator, short staffed - cleaning) and they handled it with poise and professionalism. The older new blond ( I forget her name sorry) and Tricia especially were top notch.

We paid $500 a night and our room wasn’t cleaned (trash emptied or fresh towels). We had to track down the cleaning staff to get towels.

We like the location, all the other shops and restaurants near by. The distance to Newport and other beaches. The quaintness of the hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of options.

We went into the pool and it was ok but the filters and movement of the water did not seem to be on. Only stayed in the pool for 15 min. But the size and overview cleanliness was good. Nothing else to add. Everything else was good.

Loved the outdoor area lit up with gas fire. Set the mood when you pulled up as the temperature shifts. We were greeted in the lobby with tasteful Halloween decorations and candy. There were also other drinks and snacks to choose from if you wanted them for the room. The staff was warm and friendly. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean and inviting. The bed and bedding were comfortable and everything worked!

Good hotel, I really liked the breakfast, wifi worked well, rooms were clean and beds comfy. There was an indoor pool but I didn't have time to use it. The gym area is the typical hotel stuff, could be more equipment for enthusiasts though. The area is quiet, there are a few restaurants in walking distance.

You need a car to get here as it's not close to any public transport, but still a good choice.

Location was great, in a small shopping village. Was able to walk around the village, had restaurant variety and a movie theater which was very nice. Enjoyed breakfast, good variety, nice area. Loved the beds, very comfortable and bathroom features were great, having shampoo, conditioner and gel right in the shower on the wall, great touch.

The room was in the basement. We were unaware of this because it was not stated anywhere, not in the website, not the description, even when I booked it. It was disappointing because I was unaware I was staying in the basement. Should be stated at some point during booking process.

The location, the cleanliness, and the staff were pleasant and professional

They gave us a room with 2 double beds when we requested 2 queens. Then booking.com tried to scam us by yelling us our room lacked toilets and to upgrade to a room with toilets required an additional $400+.

The bathroom was inconvenient for two people sharing a room. The shallow hook on the door was insufficient for holding two bath towels after use. There was no hook on which a person could hang either a robe or clothes to be changed into after a shower. This drive me nuts because it’s such an easy fix and so obvious.
