While nothing fancy, this motel was immaculately, clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed, such as outlets to plug in our phones, a fridge and microwave. The AC and shower pressure were excellent. The staff was very nice and told us about their on-site restaurant Kari’s, which had amazing breakfast and lunch options. The location is close to cute and historic Wickford Village and not far from the Newport mansions and other Newport sites—with room prices less than half of those in Newport itself!

Only two minor suggestions: a grab bar in the shower and more towel bars in the bathroom. Otherwise we liked everything about this motel. We will be back!

We have stayed at the Hamilton Village Inn every year for about 5 years now. Mostly during the summer this was the first time we took a trip in the winter. It is always clean, the staff is always friendly. We never have any issues, And it is a short distance over the bridge to Newport where we spend most of our time. And the restaurant on site is a huge bonus! The food never disappoints!

My only critique is the walls are a bit thin. You can hear conversations from the room next to you pretty clear. So hope to have no neighbors or at least quiet neighbors during your stay.

It is what it is. It's a motel style inn, with a very old building that needs a little sprucing up on the exterior. Our room was awesome. We were pleasantly surprised, based on the exterior. It was exceptionally clean, had everything you needed to be comfortable, and had a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a very nice Inn to stay when you need to rest while exploring local beaches or when just passing through the area. The gentleman at the front desk was super nice and we really enjoyed our stay.

The floors in our room were a little warped, I think maybe not glued down to the subfloor tight enough, but that was just a minor annoyance. The shower curtain was too short for the shower, so it was impossible not to get water on the floor. Again, a minor annoyance. The location is fine, but not in the center of anything. There is nothing really walkable in the area, you definitely need to drive to local attractions, but nothing we wanted to do was too far of a drive.

Location, cleanliness, and staff always nice and helpful, and the breakfast place right next door is our go to!! It’s delicious!

Everything except the bed. We have stayed here many times and always come back, but the beds in room 210 were so hard. More than just a firm mattress. And the AC in this room seemed like the dehumidifier part was not working well. Cool but very humid in the room.

We arrived after the office closed but the setup to get checked in was super easy. The room exceeded my expectations as there was a murphy bed in the room that wasn't advertised so my son got to sleep on that vs the sleeper sofa and it was much larger than I expect. Really nice quality room too.

No hot water at all. When we left I told the person at the front and the hot water heater either wasn't turned on or needed something done to get us to work. That didn't do us any good since we were leaving.

Clean, super close to historic places and only 17 minutes away from the downtown Newport!

Had no hair dryer or iron press. Usually these things are available in hotels. But I think maybe because it is an inn and lower range. The receptionist was ok, just maybe could have smiled more .. still she was helpful but I felt a bit strange, maybe I am spoilt by hospitality in other contorted I got hahaha Overall we have no complains but some things were so natural and yet the staff forgot which was a little strange to me. But like I said it’s a great value for the money you pay and super - super close to everything you want to see in the historic town!

The price from Booking.com was pretty good. There is a nice little diner right next to the property. It is quite, close to area attractions and any beaches when the weather permits. Wickford is just up the road where there are nice places to eat and sight-see.

Not much could have been better. The staff was great, but the guys out weed eating super early in the morning was highly annoying. Other wise, there is not much to complain about.

It’s clean, second floor rooms are more up-to-date and larger. The bed and shower are very good You still have to drive to the village center but the location is great. Plenty of open space with picnic tables. We definitely stay there again.

It’s a good place, not much to dislike.

This is a classic old school motel. If you’re looking for a Holiday Inn, this isn’t that. But it’s superb at what it is. It was clean, staff were super helpful, it’s cute, quiet, and tucked out of the way in an adorable little town that also happens to be close enough to the beach but not so close that it costs a bazillion dollars. Get a second floor room if you can, they have cute little balconies overlooking the woods behind the building. It was great to sit outside and drink my coffee in the morning. Easy, peasy, and perfect for what we needed.

Nothing wrong here, it was exactly what we were looking for.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Hot water was awesome. A/C worked. There was a restaurant on site which seemed to be busy, but I choose to go to other places. The parking lot was well lit so coming back after dark was not a problem. I also enjoyed talking with the staff.

There was nothing I could complain about. I will be going back.
