It was a great location and was able to walk everywhere. Thought it was a hotel but when we checked in was told it was a time share. The suite we stayed in was clean, spacious, and had a nice charm to it. The basement bar was nice, had a great vibe and good food. Would recommend this place to stay for sure!

1. Payed for parking, thought that should have been included in price 2. When booked on booking was shown a two story suite but when we arrived to check in, it was not the pictures that were showed online.

The location is fabulous. We were three adults, and we were in a small family suite (bedroom plus a fold-out bed in a couch). Our room was clean (although my daughter noted that the carpet could use extra work and some of the surfaces needed a once-over) and had a Keurig, a small refrigerator, and a sink with dishes and utensils. A really nice set-up! We also were grateful to have parking, since we were traveling in a rental car. There was a tennis tournament and the usual robust tourist crowd, so parking was at a premium. Other family members were in a hotel that did not have parking. It was painful for them.

The lobby had a somewhat peculiar smell. Not a big deal, but a bit of a turn-off at the outset. Likely because of the season and limited availability, the price was higher than we had expected. But it seemed relatively normative.

Of course the location! Close to everything we live to do downtown. The building is a beautiful landmark of newport. Would be super fun when we were younger and with kids!

Didn't know we'd get a spiral staircase. I have disabilities and it was pretty tough. It wasn't in the pictures on my app. The double level posed as a difficulty if you're older or injured... the bedroom is upstairs and my husband had to lug all things up the spiral staircase.

Right in the heart of all the fun in Newport! Restaurants, bars, shops, and the beautiful Newport harbour all within sight and walking distance. Beautiful room with all the amenities. CLEAN and bright with a wonderful meld of the old and the modern in the restoration of this 100+ year old building. (And the all-important PILLOWS were just right as well)!

I was a bit blindsided by $30 to park at the hotel I was already paying to stay at, but...it IS Newport so...

Location is exceptional, just at the heart of everything you'd look for while in Newport, staff is nice, good service without being pretentious, room size and the kitchenette are a very big plus as well.

Could use a bit of an upgrade on room entertainment, newer TVs, and like connecting streaming services as most hotels do nowadays rather than having a DVD selection to pick from.

Great location in the middle of Newport! Easy to walk to shops everywhere and the hotel had parking so we didn't have to worry about that. The staff was great and gave us some recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Our room came with a mini kitchenette (no stove) that had a mini fridge and sink and microwave. Room was great and spacious.

This wasn't our experience since we were able to have parking as we went in the off season. But I could tell that with the parking lot being small, in busier months it could fill up quickly and there are some spots that have potential to be blocked in. Something to be mindful of when staying here.

It was a fabulous deal. The rooms are suites. We had a large living room, a nice full kitchen stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc. Bedroom was large and bed was fabulous. Terrific location, right on the marina, quiet, everything is walkable. Tim, the front office attendant, was incredible. He's so affable and a native of Newport and knew EVERYTHING. We can't wait to go back.

Location was great. The woman who checked us out was much more hospitable and was so much more hospitable!! Room was great - very roomy.

Parking was an unexpected $30 which seemed pretty steep. Felt the woman who checked us in was unable to recommend somewhere within walking distance which was weird since we were within walking distance to a ton of places that we found on our own. She didn’t seem to want to help us acclimate. Would love it if they had smart tvs- they have free dvds you can borrow instead.

Everything the local, the staff, the suites and rooms, the restaurant downstairs which while not part of the hotel makes the end of a long day even better.

The size of the beds are too small. They are t even a full sized Queen. Some King bed rooms should be part of what if offered as options. I’ve stayed here many times and it is always what I dislike about your hotel.

The location was very convenient. There was plenty of parking. The hvac worked well. Front desk staff, Paula was very nice and quite helpful.

The sofas were quite uncomfortable. The bed was a bit too soft. The Oyster Bar was directly across from our room and was quite noisy, especially on the weekend.
