We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night watching the rabbits that live there. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The location was great. Easy walk to shops, dining, and the pier to board excursion. Short drive to the mansions.

The pool area was neglected. (There was mold/mildew on the seat cushions, dying plants, dead spiders in webs on the corners of the dirty windows.) Coffee and toilet paper was not restocked in our room. I absolutely don't feel that it is right to charge guests for parking at the hotel. I was charged $70. for three days.

The restaurant situation was very confusing. We kept being told that breakfast was buy one get one free and yet it never happened. Our drink tickets were not honored..

Clean and great location!

Had to pay for parking on premises (not terrible). Charged an additional “resort” fee bundled in with the cost of the room, plus taxes - we did not use the pool or eat on site (which would have been additional money to eat at the on site restaurant, which wasn’t even open on the days we stayed at the hotel). We just showered and slept there. In lieu of a resort fee, a “pool pass” should be an optional additional charge for guests IF they plan to use the amenities.

Fantastic location on the waterfront. Close to main shopping street and the wharf with restaurants etc. The hotel breakfast was delicious and filling, and we ate both mornings out on the deck by the water. Newport is gorgeous. The cliff walk was amazing, beach at the cliff walk was lovely, and the Breakers was really interesting. There is a free bus around the island which is good to know.

The pool area definitely needed updated. A balcony would have been nice. No information on hotel facilities, eg, bikes or boating. There didn't seem to be a market or store anywhere to buy snacks or picnic foods.

I love that it was in walking distance of everything. We drove in on Sunday and didn’t touch our car till Friday when we checked out. Staff was nice.

The beds were horrible! Very bouncy and uncomfortable. The toilet made a strange running sound that I had to keep the lid down and bathroom door closed before I went to bed. The ac didn’t keep the room cool at all. My son had a bloody nose on the third day when the temps were in the high 70’s. The pool was horrendous. Everything looked like it was falling apart and looks like there is a ring of dirt around it. Gross! The one thing that annoyed me the most was the amount of noise around 9am. Cleaning crew was out cleaning and you can hear a lot of doors opening and closing.

I love the location of this hotel. The outdoor firepit area is great as well. Free welcome beverage was delicious.

Only missed the buy 1 get 1 free breakfast and the woman working the restaurant area wasnt very friendly. When I asked about the pricing she said "we haven't done that in years" and I corrected her by letting her know you offered it on my stay just last year. Other than that, the stay was great.

Location!! Employees very welcoming and nice. The Harbor of the Hotel 😍 Everything was really perfect. Definitely recommend!

to be honest, nothing. Everything was amazing. Of course it is not a 5 star Hotel, But great value for money. The rate on booking from me experience, really don’t do justice with the hotel.

The room was great. It was clean. the thermostat worked. everything was wonderful. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is a great deal and delicious. I loved the hot cider and fresh water in the lobby. Great job!

Shower pressure was low and the shower was pointed toward wall I could not move it, this was no big deal. It was minor....

The view of Harbor is always delightful. The room was clean, neat, comfortable. Towels very nice. We bring our own soap, water, coffee cream, etc. Having a refrigerator is great.

Unfortunately, some males in a the room nearby were very rowdy and kept us awake until two a.m. The desk was kind enough to move us to a room down the hall. That had a nice balcony. The loud ladies in the room below were annoying and the smell of their pot smoke came up through the system somehow into our room. None of the latter is the fault of the hotel. You can't screen your guests. The Salt Water bar was to be open Wed while we were there. It was not.

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. A perfect location in Newport if you want to be in the heart of all the activities and access to everything fun. The room was large over the harbor and soundproof as lots noise at this time of year. Very comfortable everything I needed was there. I love the restaurant for drinks, food and breakfast. The salt water pool inside the hotel was so refreshing on a hot day too. I think the rooms were a bit pricey though as this is a good hotel but not a luxurious high end hotel.
