I was wary after reading reviews after I had already booked, but I did not experience any problems listed in those reviews. The property was beautiful, and the breakfast provided had a lot of variety and was fresh daily. The room was great and the bed was so comfortable. I'd love to have the pillows on my own bed. I was also happy to find the products provided in the bathroom were from a line I loved and currently use. The staff was also very welcoming and helpful. There was an event on the Friday we were there, however we did not hear much in our room and the noise we did hear stopped at 1030.
I would have liked a mini fridge in the room. We were also able to hear our neighbors walking down the wood floors in the hallway and above us but it wasn't too bad.

The smoked salmon with fresh dill and capers and fresh fruit was a prefect light and healthy meal for starting the day off. All of the staff were amazing, some were grad students from local universities who were polite, helpful and oozed out a serene vibe you would expect at a spa resort. I liked all the different little parlor rooms and so appreciated the attention to detail in renovating both the public spaces and our rooms. The bathrooms were nicely done. This place could be great for a smaller elegant wedding. We stayed the same weekend there was a small bachelorette group who had matching t-shirts stating "Girls Gone Mild" -a perfect description for these ladies who chose a soothing and tranquil place. Overall, it is a great feeling to be part of saving an old mansion by staying here.
Although there are plenty of great restaurants within a 15-minute drive, it would be nice to have a few additional food options for those who would like to stay and sample the wines (other than your very nice charcuterie board).

The Inn/Winery was just beautiful. The whole atmosphere from the Inn itself, our room to the Spa and Yoga room and gym room all serene and welcoming. It was so peaceful. The grounds are so pretty with the young vineyards part of the front and back yards. The room was very clean, pretty and comfortable. Complimentary glass of wine each day very nice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was nice. Continental style, fresh delicious pastries, muffins, chef made blueberry french toast casserole, bagels and cream cheese. Fresh juices regular coffee and teas and decaf upon request. Beautiful different seating rooms to pick and enjoy while eating or drinking you wine.
We would have liked to use the outdoor hot tub. We were only there one night and had dinner reservations so it was getting dark when we returned. They close it at dark because they don't have lighting yet so it was understandable for safety and there are plans lighting in the future.

This hotel is by far one of the best decisions we made in our rhode inland trip. It’s Europe meets the northeast. Everything is curated with the most exceptional taste in mind. Wine is superb, amenities and vibe as well. Staff just doesn’t get better. I lost a necklace by the pool and a woman by the name of patsy helped me search high and low for it and she found it - a true miracle. You had to be there. The contextual breakfast is out of this world. Honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed to date anywhere. We will be making this a yearly trip. I already miss it and we left today

Breakfast was pleasant, though options tended to be carb and cake heavy. A few more protein options would be perfect. Coffee and teas were lovely. Rooms were great and comfortable. Check in and out was smooth and easy. Staff was involved and caring. Delicious glass of wine on the house each night. Pool, gym and hot tub were excellent and set in lovely setting. House was very charming and immaculate. Lovely gardens. Lots of free parking and location is minutes to shopping, restaurants and beaches as well as Point Judith ferries to Block Island.
At this price point there should be automatic daily or every other day cleaning, trash removal and fresh towels. If you ask, they will do this. But should not need to ask. Access to pool requires a trip to the spa desk check in who run the pool separately. Not a big deal, but annoying. Most important: ask about weddings and other events in the large tent out back. They do mention noise from this on their welcome message, but because this is a small complex, the noise in rooms facing the back and tent, the music noise is quiteibe

It is a beautiful property. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. I had a rose wine that was excellent. It is a very calming place.
The bathroom was very dark. It needs a make-up mirror. It would be nice to have the wine bar open a little later. I also felt like it was overpriced. Because of this, I would not stay again, but I would visit the winery.

The staff is incredible! They were so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food was absolutely phenomenal, especially the breakfast that came with our stay! We also loved all of the wine we tasted and the free glass of wine we got sit our stay was a nice touch. The heated outdoor pool was amazing and I wish I had signed up for yoga because their wellness facilities were top notch.
The doors were very thin and since it is an older building you can definitely hear what is going on in the hallway, but luckily it wasn't busy the night we stayed so it was still quiet. The location was good but the turn off on the busy highway was tricky.

Beautiful property surrounded by vineyards! The accommodations are well-appointed. Staff is super-friendly. We enjoyed glasses of estate-made rosé in the gardens before heading out to dinner at a nearby seafood place. Breakfast is excellent: fresh croissants, pains au chocolat, blueberry muffins, coffee cake, lots of fresh fruit, granola, and more. Conveniently located near Pt Judith ferry to Block Island, which is why we chose to stay there overnight. Wish we had booked a longer stay! We'll be back, Shepherd's Run.

Very modern, and immaculate room! It was spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and everything was very clean! The bathroom had a double vanity, huge shower and tub! Breakfast was delicious too! The outside garden area was a beautiful addition to the ambiance. Staff was very friendly and helpful too!
Maybe more signs instructing where Check in is. The grounds are huge, so it was easy to get lost if you didn't know where you were going.

The look and style of Shepherd’s Run is stunning! The staff was kind and welcoming. We appreciated our cozy and clean room. Breakfast was delightful.
We were the only guests. No one else was there, not even staff. There was mention of a night guard being in the property but we didn’t see one. It was a bit creepy being alone in an unfamiliar place.
