The property is in a very good location with underground access to the Powerplant Mall Nice Room and apartments i love the location

The Reception Staff was so unprofessional, at the check in we were not told about the need for Card for each day for the Breakfast so we didn’t collect them and we were not provided with needed cards by the front desk, the first day we where tired we did not go for Breakfast, the day after we went down for breakfast, but we were asked for the cards, i went to reception and ask for the cards the gentleman at the reception started interrogating me by asking: Did you not received the cards on check in? I said no i didn’t, thin he asked me: How did you eat breakfast yesterday? I said we didn’t have breakfast Yesterday. I think he was suggesting that i’m lying to him so i can get more breakfast Cards. That was very rude, I have stayed at this hotel for many times this time was very bad.

We had a pleasant comfortable relaxing 8 days stay at Aruga. Mark& Lloyd always made sure we came home to a very clean, well supplied,well organized room. Requests for kitchen& room needs were delivered on time .Their courtesy,smiles& respect for guests were exceptional. Team Aruga always offered their assistance from the time we entered the door on check-in,concierge,service center calls,security on the premises ,basement parking,exit to the mall until check out time. Aruga will be our residence of choice when we return.

Prologue resto can use some room to improve customer service& availability of food of choice for breakfast vouchers.coffee should not take long to be served.Most liked food eg: arrozcaldo shld.be available till 10am breakfast time. Servers said it was in demand…then for the guests sake cook more of what guests like. What’s the marketing dept. doing?..and pls don’t ignore aruga’s guests when they appear at the entrance..be courteous enough to seat them with enthusiasm not with “flat facial expression” which makes guests feel unwelcome.

We love how big the place is. The layout of the apartment is nicely done. It is conveniently located in front of Powerplant mall.

I recommend that there is flexibility in early check-in, especially if the room is already available & for those guests who came from long hours of travel with younger kids. Also, if early check-in is available, it would be better if they won't charge you for it or at least not the price they gave me. I requested for early check-in & I was told that if the room is available, I will be charged either for half a day rate or for a full day rate. I opted out because I found it too much. I've been traveling often for vacation to different places & requesting early check-in, especially with younger kids, wasn't that costly from the hotels/resorts I've been to. Also, for an apartment that is well equipped, the room lacks an iron.

location is perfect and staff is very great in person. from housekeeping, security to reception. the apartments are cozy and I feel at home since there is no “business” feel to it.

we stayed here for 9 nights and out of the 8 or so times we called front desk or guest services, only once was our call answered. it would always ring then go busy as if it was rejected. also, it took so many follow ups to get the dining vouchers, not sure what happened there.

Location was great, it was close to all the restaurants and bars. It's just across the road from Powerplant mall, theres access through the hotel basement for guests which takes you straight to the mall without having to go outside which was really convenient. The hotel also has a buggy which can be used to go restaurants nearby so you don't need to walk or take other transport. The staff were really friendly and helpful too.

Our room had a weird odor to it, it was like a really strong, unpleasant damp smell. We also had so many issues with our door access card which always failed to work. We had to go down to reception at least two times a day to have our access card reset which was really annoying especially when we were already upstairs and had to go all the way back down to reception just to get into our room. They would say it was fixed but the next day the card wouldn't work again, we stayed at the hotel 7 days so getting locked out multiple times a day was really inconvenient.

Aruga was fantastic. Great location and well cared for property.very safe to approach the street and walk around the area.the room is exactly as advertised and all pictures were accurate. The pool area was beautiful. Room was very spacious and clean and the beds and pillows were big and comfortable. Even the housekeeping went above my expectations washing our dishes and fluffing our beds daily. The staff were more than accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay pleasurable. Paul at the front desk and Ian on the door were particularly lovely and greeted us with big smiles as all staff did. Special mention to Paul who located my daughters phone she left in a grab car and made it his personal mission to have this returned. This went beyond our expectations but was so appreciated. Thankyou Paul. Staff took us on a little tour of makati in the buggy car which my kids loved. We will absolutely return and can't wait to stay at Aruga again.

There wasn't much not to like but a few suggestions for the room would be to have additional garbage bags and a dish rack to dry dishes would make things easier but this is a small non issue really.

Breakfast is not only good but conveniently located in the lobby. We liked our breakfast voucher options which were more varied and very tasty. Location is great and very close to one of the best malls. The buggy/shuttle and airport shuttle also very helpful in figuring out transportation around the town.

Not having a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. More lighting would help in the bathroom too.

It is close to power plant mall and has direct yet secured access. Close to the marketplace to buy necessary items. The pool is also nice and well maintained.

They should have readied the kitchen amenities ready for the number of occupants. Although we requested for additional plates and cutlery and it was provided immediately. It is not a big deal but would be nice if that had been anticipated.

Location is everything.

Whilst majority of the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful (doorman, security and room service are the best), there was one female receptionist (not Eloisa. Eloisa is great!) that needed more training in customer service. I also think Aruga is understaffed which could be the reason that customer demands aren’t met. Front desk receptionists had to answer the calls (internal and external, I’d assume) and attend to clients in front of them at the same time. In the evening, there was only Manuel (very professional and helpful) to assist in everything. Aruga should improve this.

I loved the size of the rooms, quite spacious. I also loved the location as it's got direct access to Powerplant Mall.

The sizes of the water bottles given, 4 bottles were just not enough each day as the water bottles were too small.
