Loved the location on Playa Samil Vigo Away from downtown Staff was lovely n helpful family Grocery store with in a block n multiple restaurants with in a few blocks Small breakfast at hotel in beautiful sunroom On gorgeous garden grounds with nice lawn chairs and tables to enjoy sitting out with large covered area to stay out of sun or rain Room was clean nice updated bath, fridge, TV, a/c, reading lights and light blocking window shades, and very comfortable bed.

I had hurt my knee walking on the Camino and had to find a nice place in Vigo to enjoy while I recovered on my own. Found sitting in a hotel with no yard not enjoyable. So, Hotel Playa Samil Vigo with its beautiful yard was a perfect choice.

This hotel feels more like a home than a hotel.It feels like you are in a hotel that is still in the 1960's..very retro,from the fittings to the furniture the whole vibe was retro.Teresa,the owner is a lovely and warm lady,always responsive and trying to help. I believe,many of the locals come here for their summer break,next to the beach. We found this place,quaint,the host,lovely,the beach nearby beautiful,useful to have a private car park and an aircon as well in the room..all in all an unusual but wonderful stay.They also have a beautiful 120year old tree in their patio giving our room shade.Nice.

Perhaps the tv could have an English channel.

Really friendly and helpful staff making us very welcome and comfortable. Room had everything we needed and was kept in super clean condition every day. Location was perfect for beach, supermarket and local restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was great! Immaculate room and bathroom. Lovely garden to sit outside and enjoy the sun and breakfast optional. Perfect location for being able to go across to the beach and a good choice of places to eat within a few minutes walk. The host was friendly and so was the cat in garden. Definitely great value for money.

Nice spot for stopping along the Camino, short walk to the beach and some restaurants (not too many options though). The bed was comfortable and the automatic blinds for the skylights were a cool feature!

The shower was a little awkward, couldn’t seem to not have water splash out and just felt tight in there.

Beautiful garden and sitting area, bright and clean room, proximity to the beach, complementary bottles of water in the room fridge, and a very kind and attentive owner. Will return the next time I am in Vigo!

The sounds of other guests and traffic during the night (with window open). Earplugs helped!

I loved our stay at this hotel. There is a immediate sense of peace upon entrance through its garden and stone walkways . Staff could not be more lovely and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking with locking gate. Within walking distance of Samil beach.

This was a great stopover location between northern Portugal and Santiago. It is a beautiful property, and the free parking is an absolute bonus. The shower was superb.

Full details of how to locate and enter the car park, perhaps with the keycode included with the confirmation would have been very helpful indeed.

A welcome sight as I rolled in off the camino! An older property with all the new amenities. Love the stone architecture and character. Theresa was very sweet. The breakfast in the garden dining room was simple and more than ample.

The single room was quite small but impeccably clean and it was very quiet at night. The garden surrounding the hotel is beautiful.
