Excellent & very convenient location, loved being in the heart of a vibrant city, while the street noise may be a problem for some, we loved it . Nando was a super & genial host, with great information & advice for visitors. Fair value, if a little pricey but it is high tourist season.

Nothing to complain about,secure parking is @ 300m away from hotel, so drop your luggage at the door.

Fernando and his father are the owners and incredibly attentive. They serve breakfast every morning and will make eggs any way you want —large amounts and good coffee. We had a flat tire the morning we were leaving and Fernando called the rental company for us and was incredibly helpful. What a blessing!

Renovated 200-year-building, darling! with all amenities. Located in the Old City, one block from the open-air market, two blocks from the waterfront and near the bottom of the climb (or drive) up to the castle.

Nothing not to like! Father-son team were unbelievably hospitable, no breakfast buffet, but rather a cooked to order one, with fresh-squeezed orange juice.

We had rented a car and was looking for a hotel with parking, this hotel was in the list of those. The only thing that the parking was not beside the hotel you had to leave the car at a paid parking a block away . That was the only negative thing. I would like to see this specified somewhere. So you don’t get surprises.

The father and son who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The son speaks English so we chatted to him mainly. He assisted with bus times to get us to the beaches and the airport. The best advice he gave us was to consider a boat trip to Ons - most people go to Cies. Ons was amazing, hundreds of people lived there in the 1970s, now only 3 full time residents remain. We saw large lizards on the island and dolphins from the boat.

A mirror in the room as well as the bathroom would have been appreciated.

Owner/Manager Fernando was an excellent host - friendly and helpful - recommended two excellent restaurants. The property is very well located, proximate to the waterfront, shopping and restaurants, plus is right on the Camino Portugués. The rooms are comfortable but small, though the bathroom is good-sized, clean with a very good shower. The property has a lift and Fernando serves a nice breakfast.

Even though the hotel is located in a good area it is right next to a popular dive bar that serves cheap beer, so there are a lot of people around at night enjoying a good time. Fortunately the rooms are well insulated, so there is not much street noise to disturb one’s rest.

it was extremely loud from street noise. music, voices, barking dogs into the late hours. I was very disappointed as I was on the Camino and wanted some rest. I asked if I could get a room off the street but was told there were not any in the hotel. I could not get the internet to work. they tried to help me st the hotel but no success.

The location is directly off the Camino. There are plenty of food options close by (I would highly recommend Verde Mostaza- one of the best meals I’ve had in Spain). The hotel owner and son were so kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and so clean

my only complaint is the noise from the street continues late into the night. that can’t be helped, and I would absolutely stay there again!

Breakfast cooked to order and delicious. Hotel was small but furnished well. In an excellent location. The staff, father and son were wonderful and so helpful. They would provide anything you needed. Would go back again. This is my highest praise.
