If Paradise has a name it is Hotel Indigo Bintan Lagoi Beach. Especially the staff is wonderful and so friendly it makes you want to hide from the evil world outside and stay there forever. Excellent choice of local and international food, great swimming pools with, one of my favorite things of all time, a swim-up-bar, very luxurious room with a big balcony, an ocean view and a quiet pleasant airconditiong system.

When we went to pay the bill it turnsed out that all prices mentioned within the resort, for both food and drinks but also for massages, are excluding 11% taxes and 10% service.

Staff was very hospitable and attentive. They went out of their way to make us feel special. We were celebrating our 20th Anniversary and they delighted us with room and table decor. All meals were excellent and the chef does a great job of the plating as well! Overall, highly recommend.

Fantastic pool area overlooking pristine white beach. Loved the traditional decor and the room was lovely and spacious. Great range of options for breakfast. Excellent traditional cuisine for lunch and dinner. Very friendly and attentive staff from arrival to departure.

Staff service was amazing, very friendly, and attentive. Free birthday cake was provided upon request. Angga, who also serves as the bartender, took some time to share his experience working in Bintan so far, introduced some local wines, and spirits. Room has an amazing view, the resort is very peaceful, and bicycles are available for free. Free shuttle/transfer provided to/from airport and Plaza Lagoi. Good for a short and simple getaway.

Long waiting time for food, perhaps they just opened and are still getting adjusted to the number of guests. I believe it will only get better from here

Lovely staff who are always keen to help and assist you, great location with private beach and plenty of space to accomodate (sunbeds, coves) and good spa at neighbouring hotel available for use. Rooms are beautiful and nicely furnished and all have a great view of the sea.

Food options were a bit limited and I think if we were there for longer than 3 nights would have become an issue. Breakfast was good enough but for lunch and dinner would expect more options. Satay bar is very nice but closed 2 nights a week and can only accomodate 12 people so need to book in advance. On our 2nd night the bathroom had a smell coming from the vent, we were initially helped by housekeeping who brought an air purifier however they agreed it needed more looking into which resulting in plumbers coming at 10pm and unblocking a drain, which we were told was because of toilet paper (odd because we barely used any). The smell unfortunately returned the following night but was not as bad so we did not report it and we were leaving early the next morning so just wanted to sleep.

We enjoy the time spent in hotel. Didn't arrange excursion and purely relax and chill in hotel. My daughter enjoy beach and pool whole day and love that there is bicycle for us to ride around inside the hotel.

Our package include dinner but the dinner menu isn't kids friendly. After feedback, they allow us to order fried rice or fried noodle for kids however they didn't communicate well internally, the another staff want to charge us for the fried noodle we ordered. The dinner menu only offer 3 options, the first night we already tried 2 dishes, 2nd night we already bored with the options.

- reliable and friendly staff - great spa facility with effective massage - beachfront property with a sea breeze - limited bugs despite being outdoors - clean rooms and well kept grounds - decent food at restaurant - I loved the day bed swings! - high quality soaps and shampoos in rooms

- in room dining was meh (calamari and Cesar salad were a big miss) - room had a bit of a damp smell upon arriving so we kept the sliding door open often which was nice because of the sea breeze

All the staff was amazing and prompt to respond to all of our needs. We just had one problem the cook did not want to make not spicy meals and although we explained numerous times to the waitress and they where very attentive to our requests the dish always had peppers or some spicy sauce. Until my wife started crying and yelling after eating a spicy pepper we did not receive what we requested. Consider this when you eat a meal there and have any alergies.
