our stay at Nirwana Resort was amazing. we spent a total of 4 days there and we truly enjoyed ourselves from the room to the activities to the staff and everything in between. activities are a little bit pricey but it was fine for us as we essentially had the whole place to ourselves as it was non-peak season. food was great, we also ordered from the 24h room service and food came within 30 mins. staff are very friendly and can communicate extremely well in English, hence there was no issue there. would definitely go back again.

activities are a little on the pricier side but staff are well trained to keep you safe and it was very convenient to travel to and fro in the resort.

The resort is huge, with 2 beautiful beaches. The room is very spacious and comfortable. I stayed in the suite with the ocean view and balcony. The swimming pool is great and the transition to the beach is beautiful. Some things is old fashioned, but if you can leave with that, it is a great option.

The pool restaurant is not great. The facility with the spa, bowling, etc looks old and sad. However the other beach spa is nice. The réveillon party: they tried their best but definitely it doesn’t worth the money. Food was good, but the program was not. Around 8:30 the open bar was over and we still have a long way to midnight. Everything could start later.

The hotel is very nice with lots of restaurants and activities on site, I was worried that we will be bored in 4 days, but not at all! Was barely enough just to see major things and lots more left to explore. The pool is amazing, it is beautiful and very conveniently divided into different zones so you always find quiet areas when needed. Sun beds are very comfy. Food in restaurants is very good and ice-cream is delicious. The room was very spacious (even though we had just a standard room) with beautiful garden view and nice wooded décor.

Few minor things. Aircon was very loud somehow, even when it is off. But the biggest disappointment is the sea side. The beach is beautiful but the level plastic pollution is very disturbing. Hotel is trying its best and the cleaners are around whole day, but sea keeps bringing more garbage. I understand that it is global problem and hotel cannot fix it, but it is sad to see and unfortunately because of that was not possible to swim in the sea. Which is pity, the water was very warm.

Fantastic service all round in every department. They were always smiling, friendly, helpful and caring. Room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping staff top notch. Our housekeeper surprised us with his beautiful towel art (see pics). Our kids loved it so much and we didn't dare touch the art pieces because tbey were too beautifully made to dismantle. Food in every restaurant was delicious and always consistently good. Kelong restaurant had the freshest and most delicious seafood dishes. Wait staff Yenni was superb with our kids. She's a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Food prices too high.

Th weather wasn't great ( not the resort's fault) but since it's apparently 1.5 hours from the town, there isn't much else to do. The beach was fantastic, super clean water, swimming pool great as well. All 3 restaurants were great and Calypso and the barman was the best fun! I would like to say a special thank you to Nanang who went above and beyond to help me out. All the other staff were super friendly and helpful too.

The maintenance work started Monday when majory of people left, I know it needs to be done, but cutting grass all day is a bit too much for anyone..the pool bar was only open once in 5 days stay, sad really. Prices for food and drinks are above Singapore cost and phone signal is not strong enough ( WiFi works well but I needed secured network for few days work)

the complex is very big, and it was nice to discover the surrounding beaches besides the one in front of the resort. Staff were great, restaurants could have more variety within their menu, location is excellent and very good deal, in general for families with kids. Beautiful place.

mattress of the suite could be better, if this is a top room. I felt it to be pretty hard. Lights are too white, and no bedside table lights, different from the executive bedroom where my children stayed. and wifi is a big issue all around the hotel, we had to use our roaming.

The service was top notch across board. They have excellent staff who always serve with a smile and go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Food is delicious, pool is clean, housekeeping does an excellent job keeping rooms clean and tidy. Despite a small issue in the shower stall, we thoroughly enjoyed our 6D5N stay here and will keep coming back!

The rainshower head in both our bathrooms couldnt stop flowing whenever we turned the tap on. No matter what we did to push/twist the diversion knob on the mixer, the water from the rainshower head will not completely divert to the hand held shower. It affects the water pressure when water is flowing through both outlets. They need to look at replacing the shower mixer.

Excellent staff, facilities and rooms

I wish the food at the hotel had more options for Indian as well. For Indian food we had to go to Mayang sari or Spice restraunt. At the hotel the breakfast option for Indian food was extremely limited. Day 2 breakfast - aloo jeera was bland and was not Indian taste. The other curry was good. Rice was just normal. Day 3 breakfast - the semolina was extremely unpleasant and undercooked. It's called Upma and it was no where near how an upma dish looks like. Unfortunately we had to settle with other food options for breakfast. Day 4 breakfast - it was good. Liked the aloo curry and baingan bartha. No other co.plaints otherwise.

Very comfortable rooms with attentive service from staff. Good breakfast spread & clean swimming pool.

I loved the beach with clear waters and the swimming pool with bar. The Suite room was also clean and was accessible from the reception. Breakfast spread was good with different choice daily.

The Suite room online was stated for 4 persons but in booking app only had 2 persons. I had to pay extra for my child to stay in the suite and for breakfast. Was disappointed that had charge me extra.
