Amazing location in Hirafu, walking distance to Grand Hirafu ski resort and all the restaurants and bars downtown, easy access to bus system and car rental in Hirafu. Clean, had everything I needed for a 7 night stay - kettle, microwave, hot water, bathtub. A very calm tranquil home away from home I felt very cozy. Unfortunately didn’t learn enough Japanese to communicate much with the owner but she was very kind!

The only thing that took some adjusting to was the kerosene heaters which could produce an odor when cycling on and off. I didn’t know this was common in northern Japan though so got used to it and just kept the window permanently cracked - nothing to knock about the place though just culture adjustment.

Great little spot tucked away in the middle of town (There is a cut through path to the Gondola Street between Bill's and Taiga). The price is excellent and you can tell that this place has been around since the days of when Hirafu was a sleepy little ski town. Breakfast can be made upon request. So you will be experiencing a bit of Japanese culture just by staying here, unlike most of the larger and newer hotels.

I can see how some people could be sensitive to the proximity to Wild Bills as it is across the street and the patrons can be loud at night. As well, as others have stated, the bathrooms and showers are downstairs.

The host/staff was very nice.

The bath in the male bathroom wasn't always heated, which was a bit disappointing when coming from a day skiing. As a non-Japanese speaker, I couldn't understand the settings to turn it on.

Very nice and helpful owner. Allowed me to check in earlier. One of the most budgetary places in niseko during the winter season. Room for solo traveller like me is perfectly fine. Accepting that there is only one bathroom for showering but I did not encounter anyone.

A bowl or two and a spoon would be useful for days when you might just want save money and make a bowl of noodles or have cereal.

Great place to stay in the heart of Hirafu. Everything was clean and tidy and it was reasonably priced for the area. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

So cozy place near hirafu welcome center I could order breakfast for 1000yen. It was really great!!!! I also could use bathtub in public bath. I didn't need to visit other onsen :)
