This Inn is situated in the beautiful White Mountains of Maine. While the Inn is old, it has a lot of charm. There is a huge "great room" with a wood stove and very comfy couches. Free muffins for breakfast! There is a very friendly husband and wife team that stay there and operate the inn. It really is a little hidden gem. There is an outdoor area for a fire as well as bbq grills and a very nice play ground area for the kiddos with a jungle gym/climbing rock wall. If you want to be away from the grind for a short while but still have wifi this is a great place. There's a creek nearby and the occasional moose wanders through not too far from the inn. We have stayed here several times and can't wait to come back. They are pet friendly too.

Location was awesome and the staff were so friendly. It was like coming home but still being away. the decore around the inn was lovely and it was clean and cared for.

The facilities are old and showing wear, the furniture and fixtures are dated in the rooms, and it needs updating. Honestly it all added to the charm of the place, we did not mind, as we wanted to be as far from civilization and modernization as possible. So we liked even what we did not love. It was the best kept cleanest old place I have ever been.

Our second time staying here! Monica (?) helped make sure I got the correct room! Loved the spiral staircase to the room... Also hated the spiral staircase to the room! Looks great, but need to be careful using it, especially in the dark.

We were not informed that the fridge might be unplugged and to check that before putting stuff in. I totally understand things need to be unplugged due to not being used, but letting us know at check in to expect it and check for it, or have it plugged in before we show up would be nice.

We were not expecting that they would put out coffee and some banana bread and fruit in the morning for us in the lobby, which was a lovely surprise. The staff, Randy, was very polite and kind and accommodating our late arrival. He was happy to help us and always had a smile on his face.

The blankets for the spare sofa bed which our son slept on had lots of lint and hair on them, so it felt a little bit unclean. We also did not have a top sheet to place on the bed. Just a bottom sheet. It would have been lovely to have a complete set of linens.

Everything about the facility was sooo satisfactory. The location, ambience, service, staff behavior, cleanliness - all are up to the mark. I along with my friends and family liked it very much and wish to come back again. Only thing I can suggest is to get replies on Booking.com messages or text messages. Overall awesome experience and I'll definitely recommend this property to all.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Snacks regularly placed in lobby, such as candy, apples, cookies, coffee etc. Very quiet and secluded area. Good to walk the dogs on some secluded hikes.

Room was a little dated with some small maintenance issues. Some slightly peeling wallpaper, kitchen faucet handle popped off, small tear in couch. Also no AC in room, so keep in mind for hot weather. Not very concerning, but just some things I encountered.

The location is mesmerising - you are in the middle of the woods with a beautiful lake close by. Not too far from the main trails of the white mountains - really close to Mt Washington. Very nice people running the place. (photo of a lake/pond about half a mile from the inn)

Nice quiet location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and included a full kitchen so we could make dinner and breakfast. Sitting by the fire pit at night and talking with the other guests was a treat. We especially loved breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It is way out in wilderness with no restaurants or grocery stores nearby, so bring your food with you. I also wish they would have noted in their listing that breakfast was included.

I had to overnight there in advance of picking my daughter up from a local camp. I was very impressed and pleased with the Inn. I had expected a normal sized room for one person. Instead, I had a room with two hide-a-beds and a loft! What a pleasant surprise. When I arrived and checked in, I was personally escorted to my room and shown around. A nice touch. The facility has clearly been around for a long time and has not been updated recently. Personally, I like that it's not luxurious. In talking to some of the other guests, this is a location that they have visited since the mid-1970s. It's a family tradition for them. Lots of activities nearby. In short, I will return with my family in the future.

I wish I could have stayed longer. WiFi was slow, but I was told that because they were full, that would be the case. It needs more people to come so they can afford some maintenance and upgrades.

Secluded, great place to get away from it all. Very friendly staff, owners and other guests. A totally unique experience. Lots of communal spaces. Units have private kitchens and everything you need. Go shopping beforehand. Use of gas BBQ ($2) and fires. Loved our stay here. The space is rustic, which gives it it’s charm.
