Beautiful historic hotel nestled in the mountains with great views and a stream right next to the access road. The hotel was charming and had a great, old elevator. Continental breakfast+ was served each morning (coffee, pastries, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, bagels,... The orange juice tasted fresh squeezed! The recently opened swimming pool was amazing and the gym had all new (and more than sufficient) equipment! Eagle Mountain House is really investing in the property!!

The drive up entrance to the property needs to be redone, but this was not an issue. I am sure they will get to this as they continue renovations.

Love that they have retained a lot of the Grand Hotel feel but with a slightly more modern update. The time of year we were there was not a busy time so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Dinner in the bar was excellent. Loved the old caged elevator too.

It would have been nice to eat dinner in the dining room one night, but the bartender(who was awesome), was the only wait staff. Also, a Hotel service fee was added to the bill at checkout, which I understand, but wasn't aware of so it came as a surprise. But we'll worth it for the snow clearing and the clean hotel.

This is the latest in our many stays in Eagle Mountain, and certain things have changed. We appreciated getting the "free" room upgrade, however it didn't feel like free, with $25 unexpected "amenity fee" per room (and we had two of them). Funny, when we asked, they explained to us that the amenity fee covers among other things, "free WiFi" (which is obviously not free). Odd. The breakfast is no longer cooked to order, but instead there is a buffet, which is OK, just a different, less elegant vibe. Otherwise, the hotel is still the beautiful Eagle Mountain, in the middle of some of the best cross-country skiing area.

I like the vintage style yet cozy club. It's an interesting experience for all my group of 8. We enjoyed the dinner in Tavern. Our corner rooms had great view.

The room and beds were two small. There is no fridge in the room.

It is a beautiful location in Jackson, New Hampshire. Our room overlooked the mountains. The inn is a very quiet environment. You could walk down to the falls, which are spectacular this time of year. We had a wonderful suite with a living room and bedroom. The living room furniture was updated and a huge TV in both rooms. Just love the bathrooms. There is lots of closet Space.

We really don’t mind that may be the furniture is a little dated. But we had a wonderful suite with new living room furniture I need two huge TVs when I’m the living room and one in the bedroom. All very relaxing.

We liked the old, historic nature of the inn. We found the trails in back to be very peaceful and enjoyable. Most of all, we loved the front porch which is set up beautifully with rockers and some tables facing a gorgeous mountain view. The staff is friendly and courteous.

We only had electrical outlets in the bathroom and one very difficult-to-reach one in back of the fixed headboard. We worked around this and while it would have been aware, it did not detract from our experience significantly.

Eagle Mountain House was a pleasant surprise and maintained a lot of the charm of the old "Grand" hotels period. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the fact the hotel had not been modernised too much but was still very comfortable.

The hotel bar seemed to close quite early which was slightly disappointing, but may have been due to licensing laws.

We come here at least once a summer as we love it so much. The location, the pool, the porch, the appeal for families, we adore this place! The staff are so sweet, too.

The upgrades seemed nice, but the price more than doubled and the upgrades did not warrant that. We are worried it might lose its old school vibe and become too bougie for us.

There’s a $50/night amenity fee —this was above the booking.com price. It was a surprise and we would not have gone if that was told to Us up front. There are no amenities that would cost an extra $100. Tea and hot water shouldn’t cost that much.

There aren’t many hotels left with history and character, but this one oozed charm in every way. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking

We asked for the room to be made up mid way through the stay and there could have been more attention to detail here (wouldve been nice to push the vacuum round)
