We always had fond memories of this place due to its location near multiple hiking/snowshoeing paths and cozy place. Our room was spacious especially when traveling with family. The restaurant had great food and convenient to get to during cold snowy days. Having hot cocoa and marshmallows was a nice little touch. Glad to see that not much had changed after not visiting for 5 years!

It would be helpful to have a microwave in the common area in case you want to warm up something (especially when traveling with a child). Since it was shoulder season the restaurant was not opened on Saturday which would have been nice. They used to have breakfast before at the hotel which was amazing, not anymore. :-(

This is a cool old farmhouse located in the mountains. It is quiet, clean and the staff are amazing. Everything in the room functioned properly, the food at the pub was tasty and well prepared. It is not a cookie cutter chain hotel, thus this hotel has a rarely found charm, it is a gem in the mountains. I am super happy I chose to stay here.

Temper your expectations, again this is not a branded beige chain hotel; everything you need is found here however its a bit of a distance away from Jackson (but there is a shuttle), the rooms are just a little older (I was informed upgrades are in constantly in progress), and the pub has limited hours depending on the season.

The property was fantastic, peaceful except when the mowing occured when we were sitting out enjoying the peace but it has rained alot so i know you mow when you can. Had some ants in the room when we arrived but we worked around them. Lol. Fantastic stay. Will stay again!!!

The Inn at Whitney's Farm offers a fantastic location with walking access to Black Mountain Ski area. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided a welcoming experience. There is an onsite restaurant/pub with live music and great food and drinks. Other options are also available in the area within a short distance. We will definitely be returning.

It was very clean and had all the nice little amenities like shampoo soap lotion coffee maker fridge ice bucket cups. I had read some bad reviews about cockroaches right before I left for my trip and I’m very scared of them so I was checking everything when I got there and I didn’t see anything like that maybe they where disgruntled guest because everything was lovely and the staff was very friendly also a 24 hour fridge you can access with water and soda was a nice bonus. It’s a cute little rustic hotel but just the decorating is rustic they still give you all the comforts of a regular hotel ! I would stay there again!

Beautiful place to stay, extra friendly staff and an awesome fairly cheap breakfast. The view are very nice, horses sometimes grazing in the fields right next to the hotel's location. Access to some trails closed by and a pond with canoe/kayaks. Distance to town and attractions is very manageable and you get that feeling of "out in the country", so a plus.

Rooms, ours at least, was a bit smaller than expected though ok for a few nights. Noises can be heard quite easily from other rooms though we expected this a bit. Luckily most customers were very polite, friendly and quiet. Pool area could use a little bit of work.

The location, was really nice, away from the main road, but close enough to everything. Fresh clean air with a wonderful river flowing sound. The breakfast was amazing. Well stocked and good locally sourced ingredients for the food. Coffee was really good!

The apartment we got said room for 5 (1 double bed and 3 singles). The 3rd singe bed was actually a pretty flimsy cot that, when extended, took up the entire room and can't really move. The bedsheets were not clean on that bed either. There was a couch so wasn't a huge problem, but I would advertise that cottage as 4 bed, 1 cot and 1 couch. Upon check-in, we were told kids under 12 have free breakfast, however the next day we were charged for our 9y old. Not a big deal, we got really good value out of the $12 breakfast, but should not have been advertised as free.

Love the location, beautiful property with a lot to explore in the area. The room was clean, and felt I was getting a good value for the price. The size was perfect for our family of 4. The hotel breakfast was affordable (especially with under 13 being free) and yummy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Room is slightly dated and could do with a fresh coat of paint. Wish the pub was open more days as we were unaware of that when we booked and were looking forward to having dinner be so close.

The energy The energy and the environment was just amazing it’s like a Hallmark movie. And I don’t mean to be so sugary or cliché however it was so beautiful so so beautiful the town too the stores the people. I told my sons and they can’t wait to come too. Thank you so much our 30yr anniversary was amazing because of this stay with you all. Thank you again

It was super quaint and a wonderful B&B design. The grounds were nice and welcoming. They have a pool, plenty of parking, restaurant (wasn’t open for us), breakfast for I think only $12/ person with a good looking menu. They also have a large pond with canoes, kayaks and fishing gear. Each room has its own internally ducted hvac unit, so it was clean looking without one of those ugly motel units.

It’s off the beaten path a little bit, but that’s a positive if that’s what you’re looking for and still not far from general food stops and shops.
