Great views

Not a lot only one thing was on our last morning we had a later breakfast the girl in the dining area seemed stressed she was fantastic all holiday and the reason I’m sure she was stressed was because she had been taking some negative comments due to lack of food in dining room .8 till 11 was dining room hours so food quantities should be the same throughout that period

The view was great and the pool plus the bar by the pool. We had a beautiful room with a beautiful balcony and it was quiet, so you could enjoy yourself without feeling like you on a party island. The walk down to the beach was not bad, but the walk up is a good bit of exercise. The reception staff were super helpful in getting pretty much anything arranged. We would definitely stay here again!!!

I feel the seating area around the pool, can be quite limited if you don't get there early, as some families take up a few sun beds and end up going out and coming back later to "reclaim" their spots. The breakfast was "meh" nothing great to be honest.

I hardly know where to start. The staff at this hotel were the friendliest I have ever encountered. After spending three weeks here, we were in tears when it was time to leave. The rooms were impeccably clean and always smelled wonderful. Breakfast was a delight, beginning with Sophia’s warm smile and featuring a wide variety of delicious options. The chef's dishes were the best I've ever tasted, and Harry's cocktails were outstanding. Special thanks to both Sophias, Harry, Sara, Kostas, Sam, and all the other staff members. You are amazing! I highly recommend this place.

The worst thing was that we had to leave!

I recently stayed at the Far Out Hotel and Spa in Ios and had a fantastic experience overall. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the action, making it very convenient for both the beach and the town. With a €2 bus ride available to and from anywhere on the island, getting around was incredibly easy. The breakfast at the hotel was a standout feature. There was a great variety of options, and it was served until 11 am, which was perfect for relaxed mornings. The swimming pool, though small, was never overcrowded, and we always managed to find a bed. The pool bar added to the laid-back atmosphere, offering drinks and snacks from 9 am to 9 pm at reasonable prices. The room was a pleasant surprise, being cleaned daily and providing a spectacular view that made our stay even more enjoyable. This attention to detail and cleanliness made the experience comfortable and relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend Far Out Hotel and Spa for anyone visiting Ios. The combination of a great location, good amenities, and reasonable prices makes it a fantastic choice for a stay on the island.

Everything was too my liking

We had a lovely high floor room with beautiful views. Fridge , safe and a lovely room. Lovely pool and pool Bar and snacks and nice soft music playing .

I would be concerned about sun beds only 8 in total. No problem for us but I think if it was busier it could be a problem. 43 rooms we were lucky but no fight or getting there early to get one. Breakfast ok but seemed to be less to eat after 9.45 to 11. Not replenished when breakfast is from 08.00 to 1100.

The staff were excellent! Always greeted us with a smile and willing to assist us with recommendations and bookings (dinner/quad hire etc). A special mention to Sara who went above and beyond when my partner left an important item in the room on check out, she ensured the item was located and safely returned to us on another Greek island - We cannot thank her enough for the exceptional job she did.

This was perfect for us - walking distance to the beach/Far Out beach club, pool on site and easy enough to get into the town during the day. HOWEVER, if you’re after something right near the main town and bars, this may be a little far out of town for you.

The staff were really welcoming & friendly - we were met by Sophia and Sam - they were fantastic. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to one of the rooms that had a terrace (superior room) - which was wonderful, that extra outside space made a difference. The view was spectacular. The included breakfast was good, note, there is a menu card but items on there are not included in the price of the room. It is a 15 mins walk to town (uphill most of the way) & 5 mins (downhill) to the beach - there is a bus stop right outside that can take you to both.

There are no tea & coffee making facilities in the room

Fantastic location with stunning balcony views. Beach was 10min walk and as we arrived 1st week of October almost had it to ourselves. Restaurants, watersports and quad bike hire also on beach. Bus stop outside hotel 15mins into the port ever hour Port has nice sea front restaurants and Chora village nice choice of bars/cafes/restaurants. Hired a quad and toured island stunning views and beaches.

As October most of resort restaurants shutting down as did the mini market. Would imagine high season place packed.

I had an amazing experience at Far Out Hotel & Spa in Mylopotas. The location is perfect—just far enough from the beach to feel peaceful, but still close enough to enjoy the beautiful coastline. The rooms were modern, clean, and offered stunning views of the sea and surrounding hills. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with a smile and great recommendations.

Great pool bar, staff were really friendly. Breakfasts nothing special but nice enough. Fresh orange juice was lovely. Room was basic but clean and functional. Bus stop opposite the hotel & only 2€ single fare to go anywhere on the bus route (straight down to the beach or into the port or village). 5 minute walk down to the beach or about 10/15 mins up the hill. Views were amazing!! Pool was very clean and nice sun loungers.

Coffee at breakfast was not good.
